I decided to try my first ever facial session with Vivian because of the good reviews that I read on Google Review. As expected, she delivered the required service after examining the state of my face. I am unsure of the usual duration of the treatment but my session was completed in 1 hour. Despite the good service, my experience today was not the same as many good reviews here. Vivian’s comments (e.g. “why do you wait until your pores are huge and have a lot of blackhead before coming for a facial session?”) lacks empathy and I was very disturbed by it. I think it is important to build a good rapport with your customers especially when it’s their first time experiencing a facial treatment. I hope that my experience is a one event and would like to believe positively that Vivian might not be having a good day, hence the comments made during my session.

Vivian is professional, knowledgeable, and always happy to share tips and advice on skincare. I like that she’s friendly and never prone to hard selling her products—I buy them because they’re genuinely effective and suit my skin type as per her recommendation. Definitely would encourage anyone looking for a home aesthetician to come for a session at Vivian’s!

Been going for my monthly facial treatment for about 5 times now, going to 6! Happy to say there's been A LOT of improvement and each visit was always very relaxing, especially after a day of work. Vivian is a very friendly person and would often ask for updates on skin condition which I felt was very professional. The products recommended had also been a great help for my skin. I'm loving it more now, can't wait for the next appointment!

A couple of months ago, I was highly recommended to Vivian's salon by my good friend and had been going back ever since. I even brought my mum along with me on every visit! Like what the other reviews have mentioned, Vivian is really professional when it comes to advising on the suitable treatments for our skin. She is really friendly and she ensure that we are comfortable at all time. I would say that both my mum and my skin have greatly improved since our first visit. My acne have lessened, the scars have lightened by a lot and most importantly, my skin is no longer dry and dull. As for my mum (mid 50s), her pigmentations have lightened and there are less wrinkles with brighten skin too! Really glad that I've decided to give it a try and would highly recommend to everyone out there who are looking for a professional facial service in the west area! The prices are definitely affordable and Vivian does not hardsell on the services/products too! Thank you Vivian for taking good care of our skin! :)

I got to know Vivien from a close friend’s recommendation. She is very attentive to details. Although extraction is painful, but the pores are always very clean and shiny. Her products are good too. For those who are looking for facial services around CCK, it’s worth a try!

I have been with Essential Home Beauty since Jun 2020 til now as of monthly visit. I get to know Vivian by friend's recommend while I was looking for facial service in SG during covid time (I used to do facial in Malaysia before). At first, my condition was really bad. Vivian was very professional and caring. She gave her professional advice of the treatment suit me. After the treatment, immediately I can see improvement before and after treatment. My skin has been improving under Vivian's caring. Will continue with her and definately recommended!

Highly recommended! Vivien is skillful and focused during the facial session. She really puts in the effort for the extraction, making sure blackheads, pimples r removed so they won’t come back so soon. Recommended by my best friend and I have booked my subsequent sessions with Vivien!

Was the first time I tried home-based facial and I was very amazed by Vivian standards. Very professional! My face still feels clean after a week of facial. She has done a very good extraction of black and whiteheads. I’m looking forward to the next session. Highly recommend.
