β β β β β I had a very hellish experience with Esmond Lim of Essential i.d. I signed a contract with him in early Nov 2020 and paid him 60% downpayment in early Dec after he completed the hacking but right after paying him, he stopped work and gave excuses. I had to keep begging him as I had already paid him. He only started actual work in end Feb 2021 and it was very shoddy work and he refused to rectify. I was very worried he will continue to give me more shoddy work which I will need to spend more money and time to fix later. I also had to put up with his attitude, he always argued with me, so I decided to cut my pain and exit the contract. He charged me 15% penalty. He also damaged my door.
