★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The prawn paste chicken tasted too salty though it is crispy. Fish soup tasted ok too oily though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really delicious Tze char. San Lou hor fun was delicious, and the bitter gourd with fish stomach was really special. Quiet and ran by a few old Hawkers. Would strongly recommend! Would pick this over 2 chefs around the corner, any day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice Hong Kong style cooking. Ingredients were fresh and most importantly got the wok hei taste!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem! The stall is run by a second generation hawker (with his first generation mother). It's hard to find such great tasting and traditionally prepared zichar in Singapore anymore.
Personal favourites include seafood horfun (the wokhei!!), har cheong gai (so crispy!!), gu lu yok, sambal kang kong and bittergourd with black bean beef/ fish. Always look forward to going there!
The food is so good that many of his regular customers continue to patronise the stall even though they don't live close by anymore. A MUST TRY.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the sliced fish hor fun with extra veggies. ?Wow… really full of wok hei! Better than most other zi char hawker stalls. ?
My next dinner, I've got to try the fish head ? bee hoon soup that they're famous for. And the har cheong kai. ?
Oh, and chill when you get here. I always wait out my order 20-30 minutes. But I find it's worth the wait, unwinding and relaxing before eating a sumptious dinner. But that's just me. ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The san lou horfun 三捞河粉 looks pathetic and the taste wasn’t much better. Fish slices were overcooked and there was a lack of greens (just a few pieces of spring onion can revitalise this lifeless plate). Auntie and uncle were very friendly so I’ll return to try their famous fishhead bee hoon soup. Cash only.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nestled in a quiet hawker centre where most stalls operate during the day. Upon arrival, one would noticed a throng of regulars. A few items on the menu but enough to satisfy most.
Prawn paste chicken was perfectly executed. Excellent seasoning and fried till crisp. You could even taste the juice of the wings. 8 pcs for $12.
Fish head bee hoon where you find a generous amount of fish head. For $5, it's a steal. The broth was tasty and rich.
Beef hor fun was full of wok-hei. The thinly sliced beef exhibit some paleness but tender enough.
Overall a great experience. Highly recommended that you come early as all dishes were sold out by 8.30pm. I saw many patrons been turned away and it seemed that fish head bee hoon and hor fun are the perennial favourites.
