โ โ โ โ โ Miss this ciyuan prawn hokkien mee, came here for a bite...
The sambal is damn ?power, noodles mixed with little meehoon is nice with the aroma of prawn soup base. Prawns are fresh with some slices of pork belly.
Give a try is you are around here.โญโญโญโญโญ

โ โ โ โ โ Paid $4 for a plate of fried hokkien mee. Taste was average. The portion of noodles was quite generous but there were only 2 prawns and no sotong. The pork strips were also miserably thin and less than 5 pieces. The chilli only had spicy taste. Service was fast as there was no queue. Overall, a quick fix for hunger if not too particular about eating.

โ โ โ โ โ Used to be good and a long queue.
Price has increased and pathetic ingredients of 2 small prawns and pieces of squid and pork.
Standard has dropped alot and no more queue during lunch office. I won't go back again.
There are better and cheaper hokkien mee around.

โ โ โ โ โ We arrived on a Saturday at 7pm. There was barely any wait for the Fried Hokkien Noodles. The Carrot Cake was sold out.
This is a wetter version of the Fried Hokkien Noodles, and is served with thin bee hoon, prawns, squid and slices of pork belly. The overall portion of noodles was large, but the size of the ingredients were small.
The prawn stock also seemed to lack in flavour. It wasn't bad, but misses the mark. Made us wish there was more wok hei and pork lard to make it more flavourful.
Their chilli is the star here. Mixed with the noodles, it definitely elevated the entire dish and made it better. Beware when mixing in the chilli as some may find it too spicy for their liking.
Overall, we wouldn't mind giving it another try if we're in the area, but we won't go out of the way for this one.

โ โ โ โ โ Perhaps it'll taste better if eaten on the spot. After dabao-ing, when open up at home it's no longer "wet" so can't really taste the broth. Not much wok hei... Stingy with ingredients with two prawns and some thin slices of pork only. No sotong no fried lard. Super spicy sambal, good for those who want that level of spiciness...

โ โ โ โ โ The stall front looked promising and it was followed by a small queue.. so we decided to give it a try. Wait was 12-15mins on a weekday at ~6.30PM. The fried hokkien mee is the 'wet' type and comes with the sourish chilli (slightly orange in color and may remind you of YiJi fried hokkien mee). Overall the taste was flat, no wok hei, no pork lard, did not like the chilli too. But they looked like a young team.. hope they can upgrade their offering in time to come.

โ โ โ โ โ This is defnitely not the best sg hokkien noodle I ever had in Hougang/Buangkok/Sengkang/Punggol..
The broth not fragrance and don't have such "prawn" aroma.. so when I eat the noodle/beehon.. can't really taste the "seafood" taste... the colour was OK..
The chili still okay..
The ingredients were okay...

โ โ โ โ โ Wet version of Hokkien mee. Tastes decent, but nothing too spectacular to talk about. The pork broth used to cook the noodle was ok. The noodles seem to lack that "wok hey" char, perhaps that's why it was not as good.
Chili truly packs a punch - it's pretty spicy so take note before mixing.
