★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For $3.50 you have a sizeable plate of satay bee hoon with the usual ingredients, kang kong, pork slices, cockles and cuttlefish. The satay sauce is thick with creamy peanut taste. Other stalls the sauce is normally lukewarm but here the sauce temperature is hot. Very satisfying.

Thank you aunty for opening this stall. I have loved Satay Bee Hoon ever since I was a wee lad who just started putting chopstick 1 and chopstick 2 two-gether. This sataybeehoon stacks up to the ones I dream about from my past. Aunty sometimes also give me bigger portion if I go later at night and she trying to clear ingredients. Or maybe is because I am handsome.
Seriously very good Satay Bee Hoon. Please never close shop aunty :')

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought the laksa ($4), only had fish cake and taupok with a lot of thick vermicelli.
The gravy could be thicker and spicier, and definitely needs more ingredients (prawns, eggs, fishball) to justify the value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The upsized ($4) portion is quite satisfying in terms of portion of noodles, taupok. But they don't have other typical laksa ingredients like cockles or prawns which subtracts from the enjoyment. The gravy is delicious, good balance of hae bee, coconut flavour, just right in consistency too. It is not that spicy too and the chilli pairs really well.
The stall is famous for the satay bee hoon too and usually more than half the ppl in the queue orders that, so I assume it is pretty decent too - but I'm a laksa person so I've only tried their laksa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered Satay Bee Hoon take away. The friendly stall lady packed the satay gravy in a plastic container and Bee Hoon in plastic bag. The gravy looked little but when the Bee Hoon was mixed into the gravy, the Bee Hoon would be totally soaked in the satay gravy. Very tradition Satay Bee Hoon taste. 5 out of 5.
