A must have whenever I visit Chinatown! Soya chicken is not available today (prob due to the export issue), so settled with the dumpling and roast meat. Honestly, Fatty Ox's roast meat beat all the big names around and it's seriously a must try (I am a Cantonese btw). Price is super reasonable as well. Thumbs up as always ?

Ordered the beef brisket noodles and was blown away. Springy HK-styled thin noodles with rich braised sauce with hints of various spices well blended together. Piquant spicy chilli on the side hits the spot. Donโ€™t mix all in if you canโ€™t take spicy hot. The brisket was soft, tender, melts in your mouth, especially the tendon. Soup was a bit on the pungent side. Portion was large for a $5 plate. I recommend that you complement with a top up of drippy charred char siew next time, if your stomach has the space for it.

Authentic yet affordable HK dishes. Enjoyed the dumpling noodles with added char siew ($4). From an earlier visit, enjoyed the soya chicken noodle with added char siew ($5). The chicken breast and the noodles were excellent with the ginger and chives on top. The soup was good. Char siew was not bad with burnt bits though a little tough.

The Beef brisket noodle with slice beef is quite nice, the noodles are springy & the beef brisket is tasty, I would prefer all beef brisket than with the slice beef. The sambal chilli is a bit sour, doesn't match the taste of the beef noodle. The soup tasted weird.

The queue is not even long but the wait is super slow. The owner will let customer jump queue. The noodle is delicious and chewy. Other than that, it is not worth the time to queue for it.

17/04/22 Springy HK style noodle, plain without added sauce. Dumping is huge with pork and prawn. Taste is not bad, but a little bit dry with adding some soup on it. Overall not bad can try their char siew again next time.

got char siew noodles with added dumplings ($5) char siew was on the sweeter side (not a fan personally), but the noodles were the perfect consistency and the chilli was really quite nice. dumplings were just ok. they didn't have beef brisket noodle due to CNY, should try that next time.
