手撕包菜不错。 酸辣粉还行。 干锅椰菜花真的不可以。
Shredded cabbage is good. Hot and sour powder is ok. Dry pot cauliflower really doesn't work.

Beautifully furnished Restaurant with friendly, attentive and quick service staff. But then theres the food. If "heart attack" could be a taste, it would be the best description for what i ordered. Those fried chicken pieces were pure greasy salt bombs. They tasted like being buried in bucket of salt and left there for days. If you throw them in a lake, you might genocide a whole eco system and turn the lake into a dry salt dessert. For some drinks it could be a great place. Not for Dinner.

This newly opened north Chinese restaurant has a menu that you might find at a few similar restaurants along the Geylang road. What’s it’s got that the others don’t have is a lot of marble and a few floors it seems (as quite a few people entered and went straight to other floors and dining rooms). The first thing you notice is the marble walls, floor and tables. But once you get settled in the cushioned chairs the menu has a lot to offer but perhaps not many dishes you can’t find anywhere else on the street. We tried the fried fish dish in a spicy sauce. The tray it was served in was as dramatic as the marble interior, but the soup flavour wasn’t as spectacular. Not to say it wasn’t nice, it was tasty, and spicy and flavoured with onions, black fungus and tofu strips, the fried fish also had a little crispy bite to it and enough flesh, but it didn’t leave a lasting impression that wanted to make us rush back. The dry fried beans with dried chilli and peppercorn was also a solid, ok but the pork mince seemed a little over cooked and the spice was missing the ‘zing’ this dish usually provides. We didn’t get to try all the other dishes available so can’t comment on that, but the service was prompt and the interior great if you love marble.

Nice fish and good price considering it is air conditioned so don't understand the poor ratings. They also have private rooms. But the slippery oily floor may be an accident waiting to happen in the future.

The restaurant is well furnished and spacious providing good dining ambience. Foods also taste nice. Visited it twice already. Prices are also reasonable.

Opened in September last year, the air-conditioned @fengtianxiaochu is modern-looking, clean and bright. It is situated on the main road, a few shop units away from the famous Lorong 32 Ban Mian. Their menu is quite extensive, with specialties from Sichuan, Hunan and Northeast Chinese, and even a few local style “zi char” dishes. The two of us enjoyed the food we ordered in varying degrees (details below) and concluded we’d return. Moreover, prices are reasonable - our bill came to about $48, inclusive of a bottle of Tsingtao Beer ($6++). Here is what we had: 1. Sichuan Cold Noodles ($8++) - The soft hand-pulled noodles were tossed in the same fragrant “mala” dressing typically used for pig’s ears and the like. I loved theirs for the proper numbing factor and well-calibrated spiciness. 2. Shredded Cabbage ($8++) - One of the best versions I’ve eaten in a long time! It was very aromatic as they stirfried the vegetable (every leaf was irresistibly juicy and crisp) with chunks of ginger and garlic. A must-order. 3. Scrambled Eggs with Tomato ($8++) - Not quite as impressive as the cabbage but decent enough for us to repeat it in the future. Might even try it with noodles next time. 4. Crispy Fried Pork ($14++) - Coated in flour then deepfried, the pieces of lean meat were a tad chewy but we didn’t mind. The sauce was more savoury (I think from soya sauce) than sweet, which is what I was hoping. I already have my eye on a few items for our future visits. The “Di San Xian”, Lao Gan Ma Fried Rice, Fried Eggplant Pancake, Mapo Tofu and the whole BBQ section to name a few. They also seem to stock plenty of alcohol options from China, so something to take note of if that’s what you are into.
