Food:⭐⭐⭐⭐ I order a 烧饼with egg and meat floss, it taste very nice and fragrant, I like the texture of the 烧饼. The Oyster Omelette very delicious, it's a must order. Every bite of it can taste the oyster taste even not eating the oyster. The soybean drinks is quite sweet (somehow I can taste the bean paste in the drinks, tell me if you taste the same) but it's not bad. The You Tiao is very long. Price:⭐⭐⭐ It's slightly expensive but afforable. Service:⭐⭐⭐ Place order from counter. Environment:⭐⭐ The table is not properly clean, there are stains and crumbs from previous customer.

Still rmb my father will always dabao this back for us when we were super young! Always love their hot soya milk! Nice soy aroma and very smooth too ?? the savory soy milk was ok but the you tiao was not fresh at all, pretty hard to chew on. Shao Bing taste good but the pastry is too soft, will be better if it’s more airy and crispy.

Wish I don't have to give at least 1 star. My daughter and I were in the East Coast and craved for thosa so googled and found Tasvee. I was so glad to have found Yong He Eating House located across the street. There were mixed reviews about Yong He in Singapore but I have always wanted to try. So, we decided to go after our meal at Tasvee. Tasvee, as an Indian Kopitiam, was surprisingly clean and service was good and prompt. One plain thosa costed $1.50 (minimum 2 per order) and it was fresh and delicious. Only 2 seats were allowed per 4 person table though the tables were far apart. We were pleased with the meal. Comparing to the clean and dry floor in Tasvee, the floor felt sticky and slippery in Yong He. The place looked run down and the tables were not as far apart. I didn't notice any special social distancing practice except the soft orange plastic fence around the venue to limit the entrance and the cold command from the fierce looking auntie at the cashier for us to check in our trace together. We only ordered two items - Toasted Bun with Youtiao/Egg/Meat Floss and Salty Soy Milk. They looked like reheated left over. The bun was hard and not flaky, the youtiao was not fresh and the meat floss tasted bad. The salty soy milk was lukewarm and unappetising. They didn't even bother to put any green garnish to make it look better like their photos. We only ate the cold fried egg in the bun and had some of the soy milk. I used to live in Taipei and visit both Taipei and Shanghai often. This is by far the worst meal of such food I have had. This meal costed $5.30. With this money, I can only buy myself a bubble tea with some change left nowadays but also much better food at Tasvee just 20 feet away! It is costly to run a restaurant and definitely not easy especially during this COVID time. However, restaurant owners/management also need to appreciate and provide their bests to the customers who may have their own challenges but are still willing to spend their hard earned money and precious time on patronising the restaurants.

Standards have dropped quite alot compared to the past, the youtiao used to be one of the best but tastes only alright now. The staff's attitude doesn't help in making it a pleasant experience too. Don't expect any service, it's an eat and go place. Food items are rather pricy. $1.80 for a you tiao!

Nearly forgotten that this Yong He Soya is at this part of Geylang. Glad to revisit after so many years. Acquired the taste for the salty soya "drink" $2.60, it was more like savoury porridge, the saltiness should be from the generous prickles. Fried spring onion pancake with egg $2.70 is generous but a bit too oily and didn't have much scallion taste... eaten together with the salty soya brought good balance. You tiao $1.80 was quite disappointing, we prefer the crispy type, this was oily and heavy. Will return to try other Taiwanese food...

Not worth the calories. While there are good memories of the food in their Taiwan outlet, the one in Singapore has lousy food and services. A place to check out for supper if you have no place to go to. The kitchen looks quite dirty as compared to the dining area with pots and pans lying askew. Soya bean drink served in a plastic cup with cracks that it was leaking. While Lu Rou Fan was one of the worst I had. The only saving grace might be their You Tiao with Mochi. Super oily and stale, but the Mochi is a nice balance to the crunch.

An authentic Taiwanese breakfast experience which comes with plenty of character. We tried a tasty porridge and a soya bean drink that comes in a large bowl. The toasted flaky bun with egg is also tasty and a great side dish. The atmosphere is very casual and feels like it hasn’t changed for decades, which just adds to its charm.

First impressions were already not fantastic as the place was quite filthy, even for a coffeeshop. But we held such amazing memories of the outlet we visited in Taipei that we had to give it a shot. The egg floss bun was okay. The bun was a little too hard and everything a tad too cold. The mee sua was truly horrible - bland, weird texture and came slightly cold, making it the worst concoction ever. The mochi you tiao was fine but it reeked of an “old oil” smell which left a lingering taste in your mouth, and not the good kind. Only the oyster omelette was decent, but it was also super oily. At least it came hot. Don’t think I’ll ever return. We had to drive over to another restaurant nearby to eat immediately as this wasn’t it.
