$5.90 for the grill chicken n pork chop set includes 2 sides like fries, mushroom rice, season veg, salad n so on. Chicken tender inside n crispy outside, juicy n gd portion. Pork chop a little dry, sauce a little sourish kind. Add a dollar for the soup of the day, it was mushroom soup. Didn't quite like the soup though. For the price, food was pretty decent. Only one down side, u hv to wait for an hour standing in Q. Went there at 5.30pm, only get my food at 6.30pm. Overall rating 80/100.

The food is as delicious as it appears - SO GOOD….. and affordable. The mussels were such a pleasantly fresh surprise too. Everything is really good but be prepared to queue for a minimum of one hour!!!

If there is no queue, it is value-for-money but with the 45 min to an hour queue, there are better places at comparative price. Fries are rather dry but the teriyaki chicken chop is pretty good for S$6.60 with choice of 2 sides. The mushroom rice is decent.

Had the chance to finally try out Wild Olives during the long weekends. I passed by Pasir Ris Central Hawker Centre a few times before and always spotted massive crowd and queues for this particular stall. No other stalls queues comes closer than this stall. Wild Olives sells a range of modern fusion Western Food that includes the classic chicken chop, pork chops, pork cutlet, pasta and steaks. Every mains comes with 2 side dishes that you can choose from. Their side dish are very interesting and unique and they include things like signature mushroom rice and herb potatoes. You can also try out their mash potatoes which I think they made it themselves because it tasted handmade to me. The rest are side dishes such as fries and vegetables that you can find at other Western stalls. I highly recommend you to order their mushroom rice and herb potatoes if you wish to try something new. The top favourite and must order includes their famed signature grilled chicken chop. It comes with either mushroom or terayaki sauce. If you don't specific what sauce you want, they will give you the default sauce which is the terayaki sauce. Next recommended dish is the grilled pork chop or fried pork cutlet. Do take note that the pork cutlet isn't avaliable everyday so do remember to chdck with them when you're placing your orders. For soup of the day, you just need to top up 1 dollar which is very value for money. All in all, wild Olives is a great place if you're craving for a value for money no frills western delights. The chicken chop are well marinated and very tender in my opinion. Side dishes are also unique as compared to other western stalls out there. Do take note to come early if you do not wish to wait 1-2 hr in the queue. They usually open at 12pm sharp but queues will start to form half an hour earlier well before their opening time. If you come after 12pm, you'll probably need to wait 1hr minimum.

We had always wanted to try but the queues were simply too long. So we turned up at 1145 am for their noon opening, and were third in line. The wait was still long, as they only opened at 1210 pm. The lady behind was cooking the main dishes, while the chap in front was doing the sides, as well as taking orders and packing the food. They fulfilled one person’s orders before taking the next, so there was still a longish wait, especially if the person ahead orders 5-8 mains. We had the meatball pasta and the deep fried chicken, with herb potatoes and mushroom rice. The portions were very generous for the price, and could easily feed three people, and we both could not finish our food. That being said, the food did not taste very good β€” They were edible, but all the dishes including the sides were very sweet tastewise. The meatballs had bread and chopped carrots added to add bulk, and that also affected the taste. The mushroom soup for $1 was not too bad.

Not your usual hawker western food, they bring it to the next level. Medium steak was just ok though not tender enough, maybe should have asked for medium rare, the sides were awesome mushroom rice (not really much of mushroom taste but was filled with loads of shallots, its one of my favorite) and coleslaw. Black mussels is a must try, goes really well with fried garlic bits and garlicky buttery creamy sauce! Not to mention the clamy spaghetti vongole, although slightly overshadowed by the creamy mussels, it's still really good. Do take note the queue can go up to 30-45mins during peak hours. Definitely worth my time to go again, valued for money comfort food!

Food is prepared really well. Black mussels is something you have to try. I appreciate the good quality. The only problem is long waiting time but still deserves 5 star for the food preparation.

Prices are good for the quality and portion although they've increased their prices recently. Mushroom rice and herb potatoes are yummy as side dishes. Add $1 for a bowl of soup and that will certainly fill up your stomach.
