First time at forma (though second time eating benfatto_95’s pasta) and it was so yummy! Loved that the sauces all cling to the pasta, making everything so tasty. We enjoyed everything we ordered, and will be back for sure to try the other items ?? Pictured: - Struncatura Ammollicata: ?? Loved the anchovies and olives combination! - Linguine al Limone: ?? I was apprehensive about ordering this at first cos I thought pasta and lemon sauce sounded weird, but decided to bite the bullet and try it anyway due to the reviews. Verdict? I was pleasantly surprised and have no idea how you can get pasta and lemon to taste so good. My favourite pasta of the night! - Spaghetti alla Nerano: ?? Loved the combination of pasta, zucchini and butter sauce. - Tortellini in Brodo: ?? This pork and cheese tortellini and chicken broth was such a simple, yet homely and comforting dish. Probably my least favourite pasta of the 4 though, as I prefer strong-tasting food, but I do appreciate the amount of effort taken to make every single piece of tortellini. - Burratina: ?? I thought the burratina was very fresh and went well with the bread. - Gnocco Fritto: ?? Simple yet tasty starter to whet the appetite. - Polpette di BaccalΓ : ?? Yummy cod balls - (Complimentary) Ice-cream: ?? P.S. I’ve seen quite a number of people saying the pasta portion is tiny for the price… but I do feel it’s value-for-money because everything is painstakingly made by hand! Frankly, I also loved the portion size cos it meant I got to try more items, and not over-eat.

Pasta is cooked to perfection (al dente) but the sauce and flavour just doesn’t cut it. Do note that the portion are quite small. Ordered the following dishes and sadly not quite sure what’s the hype about this place. β€’ Polpette Di Baccal - the cod meat is quite dry β€’ Prosciutto E Melone - prefer melon to be freshly cut instead of grilled. Green cut chilli, decoration maybe? β€’ Linguine Al Limone - this version is bland, you can only taste the lemon flavour and sauce isn’t the creamy type. β€’ Pappardelle - probably the only dish we ordered that tasted decent β€’ Spaghetti alla Nerano - disappointing as well, quite bland and drowning in olive oil. Would I return - no…

Truly artisanal pasta craft by home grown talent. We ordered every pasta dishes on the menu, each has its own shape, flavor and character. Personal FAV goes to Struncatura Ammollicata (Mediterranean Anchovies), which has a more savory punch! Must-try starters are baby artichoke, gnocco fritto and salted cod balls. Service was superb too, great team! Hope to be back again soon.

Best pasta in Singapore without a doubt. Recommend to order all 7 and decide which is best, and also to enjoy the range of different pastas they have to offer. My favourite is the rye pasta with anchovies, what a power-packed flavorbomb. The papardelle with oxtail ragu and lamb orecchiette was great as well. The tortellini in chicken broth was good, was impressed by how much meat they packed into each individual (and small) tortellini. I've always been highly critical of pasta in Singapore as they're almost always overpriced ($30 for aglio olio lol) and overcooked, never al dente. Buying La Molisana or Rummo and making it yourself at home would yield better results. Forma has shaken up the pasta world here and I'm glad. I'd expect many to complain about Forma's pricey and "small" pasta dishes - you're paying for a maestro's handiwork and it definitely thrashes any pasta any other Italian shops can throw at you, pay up and enjoy. Corkage is 1-for-1, their wines are reasonable, had a good Chianti.

We were so lucky to get a table at this highly anticipated upscale trattoria located in the heart of Joo Chiat! We were impressed by how simple but flavouful each pasta dish was...it was spot-on, especially each morsel of that freshly-made tortellini. The other dishes such as the gnocco fritto and pan-roasted blue cod in vermouth butter sauce were also absolutely delicious. With such superb food accompanied by fantastic service, trust me, you definitely want to go back for more!

All great handmade pastas. Well sized so you can try a few. Four pastas between two people great for sharing! Issa (Manager / Server) was great at helping to serve and make recommendations! Staff was attentive and helpful. I’ve been twice now and can’t wait to go back and try more pastas and dishes!

Excellent food and service here! The pasta portions might be a little small but that’s because it’s painstakingly handmade with skill and effort - so savour every bite! Loved the texture of the spaghetti and the flavours of the tortellini in brodo, things that you can only find here when in Singapore. The fish was very delicious too however the starters whilst not bad were forgettable. At the end of the night the host of the restaurant was also sending off guests which I felt was a nice gesture. Will be back if I can get a table!

Perfectly executed pastas (had to order the lemon pasta twice because it was so good) and beautifully seasoned and cooked pork tomahawk. Not the basic type of pastas you might be used to, but a culinary experience you just enjoy. Will definitely be back again… and again, and again.
