It’s so bad, that since the day they handed back the place, there’s something falling apart every 2 months or so. Quality is very inferior (it’s really really bad); design is modest (doesn’t feel designer like; though not ugly), but price is exorbitant. I paid around $60k, for work that looks worse than my buddy who paid half the price. Over promising is how they impress. Account management is alright; but despite they are still helping me fix items that fell apart, it does not remove the frustrations of really really bad and sub-par work.

With a high level of expectation, we made an appointment only to have one of the best experiences. JD used certain keywords I was hoping to hear and it was an instant marriage into conceptualising our vision. He meticulously brought details to attention and bent over backwards many times to see through our needs. Superbly patient and the follow up was simply brillIant. Other Companies were horrendous but JD is just the man! Highly recommended.

Not as responsive as expected. One message was replied one week later. If IDs are so super busy then should not accept or should be assigned to someone more willing to accept it. Times are bad and businesses are closing or merging. Attitude matters alot in this field.

Had my renovations with them. I need to be around together with the subcontractors as the designer cum contractor seemed very busy and always not around. Also the prices need to be monitored as they marked up quite a lot. After completion, it will take a long time for them to arrange for touch up as they “always” busy although they will tell you the warranty is for 1 year. So before you sign the contract with them, please be sure to check every single item properly and add up the figures yourself.

My wife and I had consultations with several IDs but Chan Guo Lun stood out immediately from the rest for his attentiveness and depth of knowledge. I clearly had too many unrealistic or expensive ideas at the start, but Guo Lun was extremely patient in explaining and counter-proposing solutions that I now see make the most sense. Besides his courteous manners and attentive service, I am also very pleased with the workmanship. My wife and I had a hand in the final selection of tiles, paints or finishings, but Guo Lun made sure that everything looked cohesive together. Thinking back about our journey, we are amazed how everything has come together with little trouble or worry for us. We are also happy to be proved right that Guo Lun is an extremely reliable gentleman, despite his young looks or soft-spokenness which people may perceive to be inexperience. He is very prompt in replying messages, even for my questions or request for minor touch-ups after the project has been completed. Despite COVID-19 putting the brakes on our renovation for 3 months, I am thankful to Guo Lun for his frequent updates and assurances at that time. With his effort and the expertise of Fuse Concept, they were able finish the renovations to our expectations with minimal delay after the circuit breaker. It must have taken a huge effort to expedite approvals for our renovation to continue as well as to source for manpower or materials that were lacking nation-wide. Working with ID Eddie Tay from Fuse on the reno of my condo unit in has been a great experience. My place is about 80% complete. Right from the start, Eddie is approachable and patient. He understood my ideas and translated it skillfully into paper design incorporating the cost-effectiveness, good taste, quality materials and clever suggestions on lay-out, use of light, etc. He is very easy to talk to and patient. Throughout the works, he manages the project well, and everything went smooth according to schedule as far as general covid slowdowns would permit. As far as I can see, the actual outcome is of high quality and I am very satisfied. Whenever we run into unexpected challenges, Eddie has been able to patiently and resourcefully find solutions to overcome them. Strongly recommended!!!

Supposed to meet the ID, Eddie, last weekend for second meeting. He reached out and asked for a reschedule a day before the scheduled date - which is acceptable. Today, is the rescheduled date, we spent the public holiday as well to travel down to the office location. Another co-worker let us in the office, and informed that he is on his way. So, we waited for him in his office. In the end, approx15 mins after scheduled time, he texted us that he WOULD NOT BE in the office TODAY, and OVERLOOKED the appointment. This is unacceptable. When we rescheduled the appointment, it was an agreed upon - on a public holiday. Regardless, overlooking a second appointment tells a lot about the possible work attitude that comes after. Good that this happened, instead of already engaged their services and meet up with such issue. No respect for other people time. Discourage others to even spend the time to reach out to them.

We worked with Eddie to transform our 3rm house into a home. It was a positive experience and I have no regrets engaging him. In a time of renov delays, Eddie contacted us promptly for any delays and came up with workarounds to avoid/minimize the delays. Our schedule was adhered to mostly. Workmanship is excellent, especially for tiling. While small hiccups are unavoidable (L-shapes cupboards in a small space are hard to work with), Eddie offered solutions and kept us in the loop of any change. No nasty surprises or shady add ons to the final bill. Eddie guided us through picking out toilet fittings, kitchen appliances, some furniture and shades. He thinks through before making a recommendation, considering form, function and finances. Rectifications were minor (touching up paint, cleaning) and quickly sorted through. He is a responsive person who has great taste and the ability to add impactful details to your home.
