I cannot think of anything good to speak for this company. Pushy sales representatives that skipped over the renewal clause when forcing us to sign the contract at Singtel, and they renew at a pricing for 2 years that is not your original plan. They also send you reminders on the last day that you can cancel your plan since you need to give a 30 day notice (note that this is the same for any electrical company). Reached out to the customer service to cancel my plan and they were aggressive. Gladly paid my early termination fee. Use this provider if you hate yourself.

Geneco You do NOT deserve a single star-rating, based on how too many of your representatives, including your manager, have treated my issue. Beyond appalling and most unacceptable, especially in this day and age. When I spoke to Rose on Wednesday this week, she assured me she would give me a call-back by today before 5:00pm. She did not. I fail to understand why a Geneco representative in a role of authority is deliberately choosing to treat a customer in such an atrocious and disrespectful manner. I was NOT informed of the promo code, in spite of repeatedly asking your representative Ami on the 2nd of July 2021, if I needed to do anything in particular, as I renewed my contract. Don, your customer service representative, audaciously kept repeating when we spoke on Monday this week that it did not matter that I had a recording of my exchange with Ami on the 2nd of July 2021, as if we live in a lawless land and Geneco can brazenly mistreat its customers, repeat ones at that, with zero consequence. I will reiterate that I was offered a special rate of $18.35kwh in multiple emails in June 2021 with up to $95 in rebates if I re-contracted before my first contract expired. Why would I put in a code that included an out-of-contract $19.58kwh rate for 24 months fixed rate? It is absolutely counter-intuitive. Besides, why would anyone re-contract with Geneco and not want the rebate? It should be automatically applied for especially customers that re-contract, unless Geneco’s agenda is to entice customers to re-contract taking on long-term contracts, using dodgy perks, only to rip them off in the aftermath. I am well aware I am not alone in this ‘Geneco promo code debacle’. Geneco does not get to lure customers with perks so they re-contract and sign up, and deliberately misguide customers, only to default after. This is plain dishonest and tantamount to cheating. Escalate my issue to a higher echelon, a Geneco representative in upper management who is of a higher designation than most unimpressive Rose, and arrange an immediate call-back without delay. Seriously, enough is enough. I fail to understand why Geneco is deliberately treating its repeat customers in such a grossly atrocious and disrespectful manner. Mark my words; I will be heard. Unhelpful customer service hotline. Tried to call about transferring contract to new address, customer service just says Geneco doesn't transfer accounts, no help whatsoever as to suggest the process to get the account transferred and waive off termination charges.
