★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have bitten my tongue for far too long, but here goes; this haute has gotten raving reviews, so i proceeded to Tapao. The Reviews vs the Tapao did no justice plus the fact that I was charged an exorbitant amount close to $10 for mediocre sotong, small servings of dishes and a tiny piece of babat. This is very disappointing, I switched my tastebuds to this stall thinking that the queues were signs that the food was Fantastic, this was a very wrong perception. Please I urge you, for the amount peg, increase the servings so the ratio is proportional. Thank You

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This stall serves equally good food and it’s prices are better than Sinar Pagi which one reviewer said that you have to go to the bank when you eat at Sinar Pagi.
Gerai Nenek has some delicious dishes although not as many as their neighbour. The stall holders are friendly and obliging and do not over charge you. This is my 3rd time buying food or eating there and they do not disappoint. The food is tasty i packed 4 packets a fried fish, fried omelette, sambal goreng and some archar and the portions are quite big, top up with some Ayam masak lemak gravy and sambal blachan $7/- which I consider is reasonable. Should I be in the vicinity of Geylang Serai Market I would patronise this stall again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great tasting authentic malay dishes served here.Highly recommend to try the ayam balado(chicken balado) and paru goreng(fried beef lung) especially.Pricing wise is about the same as the other nasi padang stall there(slightly cheaper)dont really know why other reviews are blasting them with the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Celebrating Chinese New Year?? but decided to order some delicious food from Gerai Nenek Obek for my family instead...it came just in time for lunch and all praises from my family...food arrived hot even though we stay at far west...and their chilli....gawwddd...it goes so well with all their dishes...thank you so much G.N.O ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying their ayam bakar belado, easily became my favourite dish! The belado was so tasty and the chicken was super tender.
What I love most is their sambals (they have a variation) are one of the best ones I’ve tried. A must try.
Bought their nasi sambal goreng, all praises. Generous portion, super tasty, fresh ingredients and value for money!
