β β β β β The Self checkout machine is horrible. Staff is very rude as well when i requested for help at the self checkout machine. Shouted at me from across the counters. Ntuc has a much better system in place

β β β β β Fair selection of products for everyday needs. Reasonable prices for many produce.
But, POOR work ethic of the team in charged of display of price tags, as it seems like they don't take pride in their work. Some racks of products have none at all, so how'd one expect consumers to know the prices and make decisions on the purchase? This will affect the movement of those products, so the poor distributors/suppliers of those products are gonna be affected too.
The poor calibration of the weighing machine, placed near where the strong wind of a air-con is blowing at, always displays a flactuating few grams even when theres no items on the weighing machine. Go figure.

β β β β β Good place to get your grocery, price is reasonable. At times with promotional fruits deal displayed at entrance. There is a Singapore pool outlet inside the supermarket where you can buy your lottery.

β β β β β I miss a tray of eggs at counter after payment. As i dun go there often, i ask abt the tray of eggs i left. They said yea there was a record of a eggs left and they put it back to the shelf to sell. She ask for a receipt which is like 3 weeks ago how would i keep it. I said i already thrown away. She replied without a receipt we cant replaced the eggs u paid. Its not a big sum but i was surprised by the attitude she gave. If it doesn't belong to me how would i know i left a tray of white eggs at the counter! If the eggs expired when i didnt came back to collect, fine its my fault, but u return it to the shelve n resell it. That's what make me disappointed in their customer service.

β β β β β Got "scammed" by an offer that expired the day before but that they neglected to take down. This was in the evening so who knows how many other customers were duped by the false offer.
Apparently it's the customer's fault for not checking the small-print dates on the tag prominently displaying the offer price. Cashier didn't offer to refund the difference or even reverse the transaction.
Get your s**t together, Giant.
