β β β β β Introduced a few friends and were shared in FB for awhile. Pass-by the area and decided to give it a try. Quite a long queue during lunch or dinner time. There were at least 20 pax in front of me. But, the turn around actually faster than I thought. Ordered, 3 veggies & curry chicken, additional of 4 wings! The curry is abit sweet for me., meat is tender. Veggies are well stir fried. Cannot go wrong with that. The wings are well deep fried and not too dry after 30 minutes when I got home! $7 for the whole pack, definitely well deserved Economic Rice! I doubt you can get any cheaper than this shop. Cannot even get it from some of the hawkers. ?

Always same old dishes like home cook never get tired. Rice quality is truly good. Customers from all over the island. Always long queue during, before and after meal time. β β β β β The breakfast bee hoon is very popular and sells like hot cake. One of the best chicken wings, juicy on the inside. The wings are coated thinly on the outside and must be the marinating that made the wings so tasty. Must try. The otah is nice too but note that it's not wrap in coconut leave but fried.The taste is nice too. Not a very big piece though.
Their mixed vegetable table rice has long queue for lunch. Very popular with workers as prices are kept low. Most of the food selections taste like home cooked food. One can have a heart meal over lunch. Happy eating!

β β β β β I believe this place is no stranger to resident of Hougang. Been wanting to try this place for the longest of time. Place is relatively accessible, nearest bus stop is just 5 mins walk away. Upon reaching, there was already a long queue that stretched passed 1 shop. The queue however, moved pretty quickly, waited for around 15mins and it was already my turn to order. Basically they served economical rice over here.
Selection of dishes is actually quite limited. The most popular item here would have be their chicken wing, seems like everyone ordered that. On-top of that, i also picked the stir-fry cabbage, fried wanton and nor hiang. Meal came up to a total of SGD$3, which it very value for money. Food was definitely delicious, limited seating available for dine-in.

Limited sitting place, but the food is good, cheap and enough to make you satisfied.

β β β β β Always long queue everyday at peak time but quite short waiting time unless got bulk purchase ?. Great economical mixed rice with very famous tasty fried chicken wings. $5 with luncheon meat, two veg and 3 wings.

β β β β β Closest to home cooked food, the chicken wings are their signature dish and really taste yummy and never sick of it. Most customers ordered 2 pieces of the chicken wings. Prices are very reasonable and probably the lowest around the area. Be prepared for long queue during peak hours of lunch and dinner.
