Fish was well prep and tender. θΎ£ειΈ‘ is a must order dish.
Yet to have a chance to try their calamari.

The shredded potato is the best in sg! If you are potato lover this is a must have.
First time ordering the drink tower end up cannot finish. Think if 2 pax should just order the glass ?
The mushroom flavour fish will be your number 1 choice if you cant take spicy. Personally i prefer the spicy one because more flavourful and more shiok to eat!!

β β β β β It's well located near to Serangoon Garden bus stop. We had our lunch here with mutton hot plate and pu er pork ribs. The taste for both was quite okay. The mutton was tender and covered well with the sauce, the pu er pork ribs was like a emmm cold dish? I could say...as the ribs was already cooked and they poured some brown sauce with pu er on top of it. It's nice but not reached to our expectation cos it's in room temperature when it's served. Price wise considered $$ as kind of family restaurant. We'll try their fish next time.

β β β β β This place is quite crowded during dinner and might have to wait before you can get a seat. They are famous for their grill fish based on different flavours. There are additional ingredient you can top up to the dish. They sell also other dishes as well. I quite enjoy the sauce, taste nice and not too spicy.

β β β β β Overall spent about $130 for 3 person with 4 dishes. Personally felt the la zi ji stood out the most. It was aromatic but very spicy. The grilled fish fell a little short of expectations. The flavours didnβt quite infuse with the fish and there was no sweetness in the fish. Service was not amazing either.
Ok if youβre looking for some spicy mala food but at this price point maybe would rather go for hdl.

β β β β β Ordered their preserved salted vegetables fish, la zhi chicken and stir fried cabbage.
Added fried bean curd skin to the fish but really not worth it as topping it is 5.90 but barely few pieces of it. The fish is OK with some clams and small shell scallops. The cabbage is good as expected coming from China restaurant like this. The la zhi chicken is crispy but some of the chicken cubes are too small which can only feel crunchiness but not the meat.
