Grains & Hops Food Court Bistro - 978 Toa Payoh N

Located at level 2, and you can only access it via 1 escalator, nowhere else. Not very accessible, though there is a nearby bus stop. Well decorated place with many food stalls. It's a food court with aircon selling food from many cuisines and the place is huge! Tze char, western, korean cuisine, army stew/mookata, drinks. At the back of the place, the drinks stall sells snacks and many beers! They seem affordable! Came here for Gogiyo, but might come again for other stalls

Amazing cloud concept chicken so you can get food from various estabs all in one place! There’s Lerk Thai, Pho Street, newly opened King of Fried Rice, Niigata, Hill Street Coffee Shop and Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert. Air conditioned waiting area makes the long wait bearable in the tropical summer heat. You also collect your orders in a contactless manner. Great concept and great first encounter with a cloud kitchen!

Super upset and angry with the drink stall chinese lady. Paid $34.80 for my drinks but the actual bill was $22.60 because they forgotten about there was a discount for the beer. Just because i use OCBC paynow, the chinese lady said they cannot refund me in cash of the differences but ask me to buy drinks from the stall instead. I insisted for the difference and she keep refusing until the guy from the zi char stall came by to help and told the chinese lady to refund me in cash. And i told the zi char guy that’s what i ask for and the chinese lady suddenly came to me and change her story and say (in chinese) “ is not that i don’t want to give you back the difference, but i was just trying to explain to you.” This chinese lady super good at twisting her story! Was really fuming ?

Select Group Cloud Kitchen opened within Grains & Hops on 29 May 2021, at #02-01. Basically they took up 4 stall space and offer delivery/takeaway for 7 brands (see pictures for brands available). Ordering can be done through the 2 kiosks available, payment only by Nets. For customers who may need help, there is a counter where you can place order with staff but payment also by Nets only. Once order is ready (you can order from any combination of stalls), you will get a receipt with a number, look out for your number on display and then collect from the numbered locker. How to get there: bus stop after mosque along Braddell Road, just in front of Blk 978 Toa Payoh North building. Grain & Hop is on level 2, access by escalator (see picture). If driving, you can park at the MSCP within blk 978, as open air car park mainly for season (but on Sunday quite empty). Alternative is to park at Blk 199 Toa Payoh North open air carpark just behind the industrial estate, short 5 min walk. Enjoy!

Nicely decorated in an industrial theme aptly because this is located in an industrial building. Huge variety of beer and drinks at an affordable price. Great for large gatherings and family dinners. Good array of other eateries in the same food court. Parking could be challenging though. Advice to come outside of peak period to avoid the massive crowd during lunch.

Place has gone thru some reno, and signs of more reno being done, with the addition of some new shops. Today ordered food from Ya Long. Not disappointed. The white beehoon, veg dishes were all so good. Definitely will visit again to check out the new stores

It's good that they are starting to get more footfall in this quiet food court. They have also expanded into a central kitchen that houses various brands like king of fried rice & Texas chicken. Will also recommend the Korean don at gogiyo. Their teriyaki salmon don is really fresh and the serving is huge!

Tucked away on the 2nd floor, this place offers a wide variety of cuisines from Indian to Western and Korean. This place also has a cloud kitchen that allows you to order and pickup certain food easily via their lockers but is however strictly for takeaways.
