★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s first a ceramic shop then a cafe by the side. I was kind of doubtful of the food when I arrived and must say I was pleasantly surprised thereafter. The piccolo was super intense, probably the strongest I have tried so far. I also ordered a simple chicken pesto sandwich which was superbly executed with most and tender chicken served with fresh focaccia bread. It would have been great if portion sizes were larger. What I particularly enjoyed must have been the plating - I would come back here to have a cup of coffee and admire the ceramics.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Groundstory is more than good food, sweets, and coffee. The coffee is extracted from beans roasted by Common Man Coffee Roasters to perfection. The vessels are almost like an extended part of the wonderful arts and crafts surrounding you if you eat in. The food is delightful and light. Have been through the entire vegetarian menu. Everything is good and an Asian / Italian fusion that fit our palettes well. Groundstory also has its own pastry chef. Just watch out gaining too much weight munchin’ through all the treats. Highly recommend for coffee lovers and people looking for a healthier lunch choice and who appreciates a quiet place with a nice atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here as a little treat for myself. It's a really nice cozy and relaxing place. I got a flat white and a slice of strawberry cream cake which cost $15. A bit pricey but the ambiance is quite pleasant. Do note: you're not allowed to use your laptop and work. This is a place just to chill and enjoy a decent cup of coffee.
