★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite duck rice in this market. Generous serving, herbaceous soup. Uncle can be grumpy sometimes if u wanted to take away soup, but harmless! Haha ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good duck rice with decent portions. Uses yam rice, which is always a plus, and the chilli is unique and nice.
Uncle forgot to give gravy for my 2 packets of duck rice though, so the experience was a bit dry and lacking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Happy duck was closed so came to this stall. Uncle is grumpy and unfriendly. Bought 2 packets of standard set B, with 1 of them requesting for more duck meat. However got shortchanged by the uncle. Where is the egg, taukwa and peanuts? Disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a superfan of kway chap and was told by a friend that Guan Kee kway chap at bukit merah is a must try. Tried and am now a fan. Sold by a friendly uncle who told me to take as much of the condiments. This generous amount of kway chap set was priced only at $3.50. Opens everyday except Sunday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The kway chap is unexpectedly good and incredibly cheap at $3.50, inclusive of the kway. All ingredients were well braised and the gravy was not overly sweet and starchy as in many stalls. The amount of savoury was just right and I especially like the pork belly, which was soft and flavourful. The kway was normal but the broth had a strong herbal taste that I like. Accepts cash only.
