β β β β β Overall delicious food and pleasant service except our paccheri pasta was hard & crunchy (parts of it still visibly white) and we left it unfinished. We didn't ask to have it replaced but shared discreet feedback with the kitchen that it was undercooked. Service cleared the dish but unfortunately returned with the kitchen's simple reply: No, it's fine. Inability to take constructive feedback from customers meant a one night stand and 3-star rating for this place.
Response to restaurant's reply: No. Al dente is not raw or undercooked.

β β β β β All of us are delighted with the steak and itβs even tastier than the famous steak restaurant wooloomooloo. γγγγ§γγοΌ
We also tried the other starters, and quality is more than quantity. All of them are refreshing - the scallop, caviar, burrata, eggplant etc. asparagus is not so great. The mains - I tried sea bass and is ordinary. Tiramisu is so so, not much strong taste of Rum and quite sweet.

β β β β β Warm and friendly service, but while the wait staff did their best the kitchen seemed overwhelmed. We waited close to an hour for our mains to be served and in between, we had to ask for bread thrice - which took half an hour - so our hungry pregnant friend could have something to nibble on. Food was average. I had the scampi linguine which consisted of a generous serving of pasta and two rather scraggly scampi prawns halved into four pieces. That was the most expensive pasta on the menu so I was really not impressed. For the same price I would go to No Menu or Etna.

β β β β β It's always a pleasant experience dining at Guccio's. Chef Marco and his team are professional and friendly, serving up quality and authentic italian fare. My friends are also full of praises for the food and experience.

β β β β β Service 4.5 β
We were warmly greeted by the hostess who led us to our table and helped put away our bags. The service crew were a little young and (maybe inexperienced?) but no less attentive. The manager was helpful and gave a good suggestion for our wine.
Food 4.5β
We had just a Melanzana as the appetiser, Tagliatelle, Polipo and Vitello as our mains, and for dessert, Tiramisu, Cioccolato and of course, Limoncello. Throughout the meal, we were offered bread that was small enough to leave you wanting for more and not feel too full.
The Melanzana was alright, but I really enjoyed the mains, especially the Polipo. Do try the Tiramsu if you're there.
Price 3.5β
Price was a little on the high side, factoring in the whole experience, and also considering the general feel of the ambience as where we were seated was right in front of the open kitchen. I didn't quite fancy that. We asked for another seat but were told that it was reserved... well I did make a reservation as well so I don't quite buy that reason.
I would say that this would be a place I'd visit again for Italian food. Leaving these notes on my visit last night for my own reference in future as well.

β β β β β Sensational quality and service. Deserves the price and reputation. Excellent selection of wines from Italy. Highly recommend that you also save some space for desserts. Absolute divine and I'll recommend Carmello and Arancia.

β β β β β Talk about getting the best seat in the house. What a delight it was for our chimps to have caught Chef Marco in action as he plated and served up his creations in true Italian flair and extravagance. The open kitchen complemented the especially delectable "business set lunch" well. The three-course tribute to authentic Italian cuisine where every dish shone in presentation and taste had us savouring every bite. We are grateful we finally got to try this cosy little fine dining establishment and will be back for more.
