In 2012, my dad was critically ill and had to go through multiple surgeries for his hands due to infection in addition to consultations with other many drs in different speciality. DR TAN SOO HEONG left the greatest impact to my dad n our family. He showed such great care and compassion to us. That is extremely impt as my dad journeyed into the final stage of his life. Dr Tan Soo Heong is a doctor who really show compassion. I consulted Doctor Tan on 14.9.2020. He patiently listen, conducted ultra sound scan to understand my pronlem.. Realising that it is not a problem with my hand but other existing issue that resulted in the blood clot, he encouraged me to seek the right medical treatment immediately. He helps write up a letter on his finding for my follow up with my other doctor. To my surprised, despite spending at least 30 minute of his professional time, he also instruct his staff not to collect any payment since problem is not related to hand. I was so surprised and really touched by his kind action. This is what i call a real professional . Thank you Dr Tan, u make me realised that there are still people with a heart in this tiny island of singapore.

I have known Dr Tan since 2008. My right arm suffered a severe brachial plexus injury after a botched surgery by another negligent doctor. I was in the early 30s, & life was only beginning but with my right arm paralyzed, I was slipping into depression. Daily basic acts of showering and dressing up turned into a frustration and unimaginable challenge. By a stroke of luck, I picked his name after a random search on the net. A kind & gentle soul, Dr Tan, offered a listening ear to my woes. And he was full of that much needed empathy. He could have detached himself emotionally from his patient’s sorrows but he was there for me. And wherever possible, he waived off my consultation fee even though he had no duty or obligations to do so. 6 months later, I made a complete recovery. Credits & my heartfelt gratitude go to Dr Tan even till today. Fast forwarded to 2021, I started to have trigger finger issues with my left hand. Naturally, he was my surgeon and my ops was a success, needless to say. I went for follow-up physiotherapy and the therapist confided that Dr Tan is one of the foremost surgeons in town for hand-related surgery and he’s meticulously down to the little details during the procedure, and his patients are definitely in the best hands ?. I would recommend him to my friends and those out there reading my review to book a consultation with Dr Tan Soo Heong for hand related injuries and medical issues.

I came to Dr Tan with a hand injury and I would say he is as what others has described him. Amazing bedside manners and very reassuring. With Dr Tan, you can be assured that you are in very good hands.

Dr Tan is a wonderful doctor and surgeon. I went to see him for trigger thumb. He listens, he explains everything in plain English, he's compassionate. He doesn't patronize. I appreciate that he didn't pressure me to go the surgery route immediately. I did need to have surgery in the end. Dr Tan was so calm and caring and my trigger thumb is fixed. I highly highly recommend Dr Tan.
