Wanton mee 云吞面 ? Food wise: Chewy and springy noodles with their savoury sauce, they are good! It is the quality that one would expect out of a good wanton mee! Along with its fragrant and sweet Char Siew, soft, not overly burnt and tender meat. They were generous about it too! Wanton, Woah, the type I tried to look for when I order any wanton mee. The wanton, one bite, and the taste of the well marinated meat just overwhelmed me! Quite surprised to find this gem in a corner, one could say that this could be one of the best wanton mee in the Ang Mo Kio area. It is like an overall champion to me. ✨ Ambience wise: Coffeeshop ?? Randomly chance upon this wanton noodle stall at the coffeeshop at blk 347 Ang Mo Kio Ave 3. In this coffeeshop, there is also the famous rasa sayang western food. This wanton noodle stall shares a unit with a stall selling ban mian. They are just located right beside the toilet. There wasn’t any queue when I was there. Upon reaching the stall, noticed that the display was empty and thought that they were sold out for the day. Luckily, it was still available. Apart from wanton noodle, they also offer dumpling noodle and wanton soup. A plate of wanton noodle starts from SGD$4 onward. Noodle was nicely cooked; texture of the noodle was springy. Sauce tasted like the from a very popular brand. Sauce is on the sweeter side and has a strong lard taste to it. Chili sauce was that spicy but goes well with the sauce. The charsiew was quite good as well, it wasn’t dry and quite flavorful. Wanton was quite nice as well; the filling was very generous. Was given an extra wanton since they ran out of vegetable. Overall, very good plate of wanton noodle that I wouldn’t mind eating again if I am in the area.

A hidden gem in AMK. When everyone is raving about KK, S19 in AMK. This stall is hidden from all the social media. Noodle is al dente. Char siew is roasted in house with nice sweet, savoury and char taste. Sauce is quite similar to KK and nice spicy chilli kick. Wanton and soup is above average. Overall it's a very good plate of wtm.
