HAO mart

I was charged a higher price on minced chicken than the price on the tag. When I brought it up to the manager he said the office had increased the price but didn't print new tag. Didn't offer a refund on the difference, I had to tell him that it wasnt right and was deceptive.

If you're tired of walking around the park, got minimart store for you to buy drinks.

Overall is ok. Just they not flexible on cashier. Super long queues but still only one cashier open. 3 person working. Ummmmm. The cashier lady not so tall with glasses not helpful at all. Always chit chat with others. Asking to check thing will just tell you no more.

Has a wide variety of items and not as cramped as the usual Sheng Siong. There's an unused area with potential for live seafood/butcher area but the crowd is not sufficient to sustain that yet until the neighbouring estates are filled up.

Nice shop to buy stuff, very comprehensive but the expiry date of items tend to be very near so need to be careful!

This store has a pretty decent variety of groceries and produce in a rather secluded corner of Punggol. Good for those living nearby who do not want to travel all the way to the town centre major supermarket just to pick up some items. Some prices may be slightly higher than the major supermarkets but it just might justify the travel costs. Attention to management of the store: I noticed the aircon control panels just next to your checkout counter - your aircon temperature are all set to 17 degrees C. I reckon you are driving your compressors hard with high electricity bill every month and your aircon will spoil fast. ;)

Disclaimer: Feedback given were absolutely honest to the bottom of the heart. This may led to very honest and straight forward wording which may sound harsh. To the owner of the Shop - please do not feel offensive as we are working towards making a better HAO mart for 658 Punggol East. I will just point out to the 3 major issues (but not limited to other issues) we have noticed during a period of time below: 1) PRICE TAG - Please have standards to your item Price Tag. We as in the Consumers were not only having one time, nor 3 times, but MULTIPLY TIMES of SURPRISES when making payment at the Cashier. When we are clarifying the price at the Cashier during payment, the Chinese blue hair lady, or the Malaysian Chinese Aunty will give us a 'bo-chap' attitude and say "oh - the system updated the price". The fact is - how the hell will we know the price has changed in your system?! 2) EXPIRY DATE - Please have standards to your routine checks of expiry date on the items, ESPECIALLY THE FOOD ITEMS. We can even notice some of the Food Items were already EXPIRED for more than a WEEK! You are running a Super Market, not a standalone store in a 3rd world country or a Mama Shop (oh come-on, even a Mama Shop can do it better). 3) SERVICE - I know this not a place to expect a Professional Firm a-like service, we are just buying groceries; BUT why your staff are always complaining? Complaining about the company is not treating them well la; complaining the company did not assign proper manpower for them la, bla bla bla. THEN it led to the consumer will see a black stormy typhoon face from the staff and their attitude! Please dont ill-treat your staff... it will led to your customers being ill-treated at times... Or perhaps, you may want to try replace them to another outlet, which this may help in a way of mental well-being.
