Worst minimart I have been to alcohol is a ripoff and the boss is really annoying and kept staring at me. However, the store beside it with a Chinese boss is better and has a really kind and enthu boss and would sometimes provide discounts.

It was good until I was treated rudely by a staff for their mistake. I gave my 6yo son $2 as a little treat for him to grab the snacks he likes. It’s also a chance for him to learn to observes, to look at the price tag and do shopping by himself. So he grabbed this Doritos on the rack with price tag showing $1.40 and went to the cashier happily. While I was waited outside, he came out empty handed, looks confusing. So I went in, the cashier told me it was $4.90. So I told my son to take another one thought that he might read the price tag by mistake, until I found out he was actually right, the whole row of Doritos are placed at the rack with multiple yellow tags of $1.40. I went in again and try to find out what was wrong. The cashier told me maybe they hv put at the wrong place, but another female staff with dyed yellow hair told me very rudely, “how could it be possible?!” (怎麼可能？！）then she followed me to the rack and pointed at the label ON TOP of the row of Doritos, said we should refer to the label there. So, it was both our mistakes by looking at the tags associated at the same row, but to look around and find the label at another row ABOVE? it was ridiculous! Not to mention the very rude attitude shown by the staff, it was misleading and confusing too (no individual price tag on each packaging either) It was really an unpleasant shopping experience, I do not know how should I tell my son, that the price tags he sees were not meant for the item.
