β β β β β Muslim food stall in the corner has delicious nasi padang, love the mutton curry here and the fragrant belachen chilli. Always served by the friendly malay lady at lunchtime. Price not exactly cheap but the serving is big so I always dabao back and eat it over 2 meals so it works out fine.

β β β β β We ordered a plate of rice from this muslim stall and asked to borrow extra plate for our kid. Just as the malay staff wanted to lent it to us, the Chinese woman behind her shouted "no.. dont have!" What kind of attitude you treat your customers

β β β β β Location is just a stone's throw away from Bukit Batok MRT. There are about 12 stalls that make up the food court. Joining the line up is one of the best places to have Ma La Xiang Guo around Singapore. Taste is on the spot and price is pocket-friendly too (I have to warn you that it is spicy even for seasoned chilli eaters). The food court has some stalls that are open 24hrs (drinks/small bites, Chinese ban mian, fishball noodle) with the others starting as early as 6am (malay food, chicken rice, vegetarian). Great for late night or shift workers. The downside would be lack of ventilation (hot and stuffy) and limited seatings during peak hours.

β β β β β 1 star for the tze char stall. Food was not fresh, and poorly cooked. Salted fish beansprouts had no salted fish taste at all.
We received bbq stingray that was unfresh, so tough that we couldnt get the meat off. The server took the dish back and by the time we finished 3 other dishes, the stingray did not come back.
I went to ask the server who took back the dish and she was extremely rude, telling me to tell the cashier/boss at the counter if I want a refund.
I was then informed that they are prepping the fish and that it will take another 20mins. Surely this 20mins of prep and cooking should have started much earlier when they received back the dish and not when I come to ask about the dish. Boss then agreed to a refund.
The meal left a bad taste in our mouths.

β β β β β Many food variety here, will always come here for the Mala Xiang Guo and Herbal Bak Kut Teh, coupled with milk tea. The only few places that sells Herbal Bak Kut Teh, as Singapore are more well known for their pepper bak kut teh. And in my opinion the mala here is one of the best in Singapore!

β β β β β Ordered Char Siew Wanton Noodle. Added $1.50 for extra char siew but it seems like not much difference as compared to not adding.

β β β β β Love the mala hotpot shop in this hawker. A bit spicy, strong taste but shiok mala in west area. The price was S$10.50 for the one in the pic. Good mala?
