Computers and communications department in Harvey Norman westmall branch. . My husband and I had been there to buy an ipad for our son and we had no clue about what to select nor we had any idea on ipads. The customer service officer was so polite, patient, understanding and guided us through every step. He also patiently set up the I pad for us as we did not know much about it. He explained in detail. His patience in handling us and our requirements was very commendable. Really really grateful to u, Mr. Tang qinghui. God bless u for helping us so much. I wish u all good luck in future.

β β β β β Staff told me the television I ordered will be delivered to my house within 3 working days but it has been eight days and the item is still not here. I e-mailed Harvey Norman and they still have not replied, can someone please confirm if this is how they normally treat their customers.

β β β β β I buy my electrical and electronic products from HN regularly. All of the stores, the Westgate branch is far worst when comes to customer service. When buying a product, its only natural for customer to browse and make comparisons. Well, in this store the minute the sales know youre just browsing thru, you can the attitude change. Experienced this 3 times in this store. Wont be spending my money here, thats for sure.

β β β β β Had a great experience at Harvey Norman Westgate today. We went looking for Ipad Air and attended by KC, while he was checking for stock we went to look at Smart TV and a senior man with his mask down below didn't help much and ask a young and energetic young man Johnny Nguen to attend to us. Johnny is an excellent and cheerful staff and managed to convince us to buy a 65inch Smart TV with extended warranty. KC too was very helpful and even help us set up the Ipad Air. Both of them made our day today shopping at Harvey Norman Westgate ?

β β β β β Terrible service. They left me alone when I was browsing, which was fine. The displays were haphazardly placed. Some of the vacuum cleaners were not connected or charged, so I couldn't test them.
When I wanted to buy a vacuum cleaner, there was still no staff available. There were 2 guys attending to a couple and both of them were very busy looking at the laptop. I went to the cashier nearby. There were no other customers there, but she just shouted to the 2 guys to serve me. I went back to wait for either of them. One of them went off. The other, still hard at work looking at the laptop, made me wait and then shouted across the entire store for his colleague to help him. But even after much shouting, his colleague didn't turn up.
So I left. I haven't heard this much shouting since I last went to a wet market. (How to give zero stars?)

β β β β β Distancing itself from the rest of the IT outlets here in Westgate, this spanking new outlet is breathtaking in look-and-feel for starters.
The layout deserves, what I considered, the honor of an experiential store. Wide aisles, brightly lit, and a showpiece of discerning merchandising, you can feel technology in the air.
Unfortunately, the bane of Singapore's retail sector is present too - mobile phone gazing and back-to-the-customers sales staffs shed two stars off

β β β β β Visited at 9pm and was not attended to even though we were keeping a lookout for service staff. After ten minutes of waiting, went up to the cashier to ask for help. She shouted randomly at someone and said to us that we will be attended to but no one came after five minutes.
This whole time we only saw two other staff who were both busy attending to another couple. One of the service staff was not wearing his mask properly. The other one just suddenly shouted loudly across the store for his colleague Michael who also didn't turn up even after being shouted for.
As I walked out I informed the cashier that I am leaving as no one attended to me. She just smiles and watched me leave.
By the way, the customer they were talking to had his mask on his chin the entire time and none of the service staff advised him to wear it properly. I guess they can't if they themselves are not doing so.
Now I am wondering how they get 4.1 rating.
