β β β β β Probably the best hat salon in the world. Bill brings a level of personal service that is rarely seen. He not only helped us choose the best hats and customized them for us but he also expertly advised us how to pack them in our luggage for our long flights home. They arrived home intact.

β β β β β What a lovely shop. A visit here is not a shopping trip, it's an experience. Knowledgeable friendly staff provide guidance and advice on hat maintenance, handling and how to get the best from your purchase. They also provide a some of the history of the craft involved, most interesting. While not cheap, you do feel you are buying something of value, hand made, crafted. You come out with an appreciation of your purchase, somethung special, something personal, not just a product.

β β β β β They have an online store but nothing beats visiting their physical store in Joo Chiat. Naturally, the incredibly stylish owner, Bill Cain, is the main reason. He is extremely knowledgeable about all things Panama Hats and is happy to share what he knows with whomever is interested. His effortless charm truly elevates the shopping experience, so be warned - there is the possibility of leaving with more purchases than you planned ?. However, if you love hats like I do, and know how they can add so much more to an outfit or look, then there is no problem, is there? ?

β β β β β What a fabulous experience we had visiting Hats of Cain in Joo Chiat. Bill and Abbie were delightful hosts and their gorgeous showroom was both claiming and a wonderfully satisfying escape.
The selection of hats in the shop was indeed almost as remarkable as their millinery knowledge.
If you are searching for that special hat and have a real respect for quality I highly recommended Hats of Cain. Fantastic shop, lovely hosts and top quality merchandise.
