T	Trip.com Member on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the hotel is located in the central of singapore. located near bugis street, rochor mrt station. there are several seven eleven near the hotel. the service is not good but also not bad. good for backpacker or who need cheap hotel in the central of singapore.

One of the oldest guesthouses in Singapore and the ONLY one left on Bencoolen st - a former budget travellers street now taken over by gentrification. Arriving at night and walking along Bencoolen street not sure whether there would be any budget accommodation left I was glad to see Hawaii Hostel still there. For those who need public internet there is cheap internet cafe short walk further down the street.

Rooms are not very cozy and the security was terrible, especially for the females at the common toilets. They are not fully separated. WiFi is not working at most of the time.

So if u found your room is get problem, u ask for other room. And if u not usual with backpacker better use hotel not hostel. Overall in this hotel if u get nice room its comfy enough. If u take room with brrakfast u will get bread, tea/coffee, and egg. The price for stay in this hotel is also cheap enough. Recommended for backpacker. Enjoy!
P	Parvinderjit Kaur on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Washrooms are not clean. Must have lift because it is a problem for the people who cannot walk up 5th floor.. But rest this hostel is very good many facilities are there. We can live safely. And enjoy.

But unfortunately the room was not cleaned, at least not properly, the room smelled of cigarettes and made it impossible to breathe, I had a blocked nose for a week after staying two nights. Eventually found the cause; cigarette butts left in the window. There was also water leaking from above the door where you hang towels and clothes, resulting in whatever was hung to be damp by morning. And bugs. Bugs everywhere. Tiny little bugs crawling everywhere. Overall, great location, great price, maybe stay a night or two. Definitely bring air freshener and bug spray.
