My wife and I first saw Caroline when our son (M) was 3 years old and was not talking. Our paediatrician flagged an alert when M was around 2.5 years old and yet to talk. We saw a couple of experts including a developmental paediatrician and speech therapists before arriving at Heal Therapy. In our preceding experiences, we did not feel comfortable working with those experts as we feel that they always instilled fear and an unnecessary urgency to engage M in copious amounts of intervention/therapy. When we first saw Caroline, she did a screening test for M and it was the first time that we felt that the conclusions were fair. She then mapped out an intervention plan with clear markers and milestones. She was also practical in setting goals for M. She was the first one who suggested that M could have speech apraxia and we found out later that this turned out to be the correct diagnosis. Throughout the intervention, Caroline was always reassuring and walked with us the whole journey. To the untrained eye, we found her intervention methods to be scientific and also effective. She had a keen eye for detail and would pick out M's issues and prescribe a relevant action plan. A key part of Caroline's strategy for M was to train us parents to work with M at home. This greatly increased the frequency of intervention to a marked effect. During the therapy sessions, we loved the way Caroline interacted with M. M also loved to visit auntie Caroline, and would ask to go to the clinic even through the circuit breaker/heightened alert periods. The clinic is clean, and the location well appointed. Parking right is front of the clinic is ample and weatherproof. A year on, M is speaking well and has a plethora of vocabulary. Notwithstanding, Caroline's expertise and partnership in this journey has been both pivotal and touched our lives. To anyone who is looking for a good speech therapist, we recommend Caroline to the highest degree.

I was an adult who suffered from the inability to pronounce the letter "R". I decided to consult Caroline and within a few sessions of simple coaching by her, I could have pronounced the letter in words and sentences! Caroline was very patient and understanding and she even took the effort to study my Mother Tongue to see if I could converse the letter "R" in that language. I would recommend her to adults who have always wondered if adult speech problems could ever be corrected. It can!

Just wanted to share my experience here. Our 5 year old boy started to see Caroline a few months back and he has improved a great deal. The tag team approach suggested by Caroline is ideal, where my wife and I practice the techniques and exercises taught to us by Caroline with our boy through the week, and we regroup on a weekly basis with Caroline to track progress. Our boy loves his sessions with Caroline and is learning well. 5 stars for Caroline!
