β β β β β Wanted some nice(ish) food on a sad hazy day in Singapore and was not-comforted by these two bowls of even sadder mee tai mak and laksa- prob the same standard as those cooked by secondary two students at home econs class.
Just stick to their coffee or tea and avoid their food. And seems like they missed the memo on the Governmentβs drive towards healthy eating- they charge an additional 10cents per cup for no sugar. Not a big sum but leaves a sour taste in the mouth (and not because of the lack of sugar hor).

β β β β β Over priced curry chicken rice with only 1 piece of miserable chicken drumstick.
The Laksa does not even taste anywhere like a proper Laksa, and the ingredients given are cheap quality.
Very worried of our local cuisines run by these local chains, please please improve!

β β β β β Donβt come here if youβre hungry. Staff is pathetically slow and incompetent at basic jobs. Everything is pretty much double checked before execution. The only one remotely good at his job is Fritz(?), heβs pretty much keeping the whole place running.

β β β β β Too expensive. I ordered curry chicken. In the curry , there is only 1 medium size drumstick, 1 egg n 1 whole potato for 7 dollars. I find it ridiculously priced.

β β β β β I've seen the fair share of negative comments for this wang outlet at Hougang 1. I think quite a few nunber of feedbacks were about their service in general.
To me, I feel that the uncle and aunties might be slow in preparing the food sometimes but you can see the they are actually trying their very best to serve you fast. Some of them are very courteous and friendly as well. Do try to be patient when you are dining here and spare a thought for them especially during their peak timings. They have to rush orders for food delivery guys as well.
Food wise, I would say it's standard across all wang outlet island wide. The coffee here is good. The taste here matches the same standard as other competitors out there. Do enjoy your time here!

β β β β β I tried the national day promotion menu, the chicken luncheon egg mayo thick toast with Milo kopi. When I ordered it at the cashier, she wasn't very sure what I was talking about. The promotion menu was literally placed right in front of the cashier machine. I had to pick it up and show her before she understood me. The food was great, but the staff needs to be updated on the promotion before releasing it.
