★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Car broke down nearby but didn't want to get battery providers in case it wasn't a battery problem. Mechanic Joh came on a bike to jumpstart the car and I drove here. He diagnosed it to alternator. A diod was burnt but he understood that as a Malaysian with a 15-year old car, we couldn't afford an expensive replacement so he got a good recon alternator for SGD 280. Had no choice but to have it done. Comes with a 3-mth warranty. Spoke with a Singaporean senior who was getting his electronics fixed, says he always comes here, service is good and price is reasonable.
