Had a good time at HPE training center in singapore and Wonderful view from the 11th floor.

Singapore office for HPE. The main recipient is on level 11 which also houses the customer engagement centre.

Nice new building. Slick and span. The carpark is designed to milk visitors unless you have free parking coupons. Maybe to discourage clients from dropping in too often.

Great time with HPE gurus. Had a HPE Aruba workshop at Customer engagement Center11th floor for University of Kelaniya. Cool atmosphere and we'll designed building. Massive Data Center which I ever seen.

Through Syracuse University I did a summer internship at HP Enterprise in Singapore. I was excited to go work for such a prestigious company, but things quickly soured. My intern supervisor, Michelle Cheng, did not help me at all in doing my major project. She was either too busy or did not care (if that was the case then why was there even an internship offered through HP?). I was pretty much left to fend for myself and being a Junior undergraduate, I did not really know what I was doing (I needed guidance but did not get it from my "supervisor"). In the end, I put together a presentation using research that I gleaned by visiting a lot of the IT stores. I guess it didn't go well because after the presentation (that was overseen by Ms. Cheng's boss) Ms. Cheng took me into a conference room and reamed me out for almost thirty minutes! She even dared to say that I had gotten her fired (that did not happen obviously), etc. I spent only seven weeks in Singapore and travelled all around the island. I enjoyed the hospitality and friendliness of the Indian and Malay people. It was the Chinese population (epitomized by the hyper-aggressive Ms. Cheng) that left me a very bad taste in my mouth. I wasn't even paid as an intern, Ms. Cheng gave me no guidance whatsoever, and in the end, I was cast as the bad guy! Shame on you, HP, for condoning such behavior!
