โ โ โ โ โ Black version fried carrot cake $4 portion. The black version is fried dark and sticky sweet with a good amount of cai po. The chili has a slight kick. Enjoyed it very much and Happy to order this anytime.

1st approach: young lady behind the stove. My initial biasness set me up with a poor expectations. I was having what does a young person know about an essentially old school local bite
1st bite: Into my bite of the sweet black cake, moist cube of the stream cake. Distinguishable egg white, rich salty savory radish bits, tiny chucks of caramel. This is my ideal sweetened fried carrot cake. I was blown away.
Back to my original caption: We all live in an unconscious biased world. I am proven wrong yet again and I am happy for that.

โ โ โ โ โ Saw a long queue and decided to give the stall a try! I got the biggest portion of their black carrot cake at $5. The black carrot cake was of just the right sweetness and the chilli had a good kick.. They were also very generous with the spring onions which I loved. Indeed very yummy ? Iโd say it is really worth it for the price and I will definitely come again. 9/10

โ โ โ โ โ Carrot cakes contained generous amount of caipo and chopped spring onions. Taste of white version was pretty good but I prefer those that are fried into large chunks/pieces without the eggs being overcooked. Also not fan of the disposable cutleries. E-payment available.
