Went there at late afternoon and only left 3 kinds of rice cakes. Nice rice cakes shop in Singapore. Rainbow rice cake is with cinnamon. 영양찰떡 (Yeongyang) is filling with beans. Nice to eat with a cup of ☕️ & ?. Beside Hodunamu is Eee mo korean side dish and meal set store. Bought kimchi and stry fried Anchovy side dish. The kimchi is well fermented and seasoning well. Goes well with white hot rice or make kimchi stew will be delicious ?. Will try the lunch pack next time.

Don't really like the rice cakes, maybe it is more suited for Koreans !

I think they only treat corporate customers and don’t entertain individual customers. I contacted them via Kakao talk to buy some rice cake for myself. I didn’t know how to order bcs it was first time to buy frm them. But the response was not kind and clear so that I asked again to clarify. But no reply even though they read. Asked again but also no reply!! Very rude. At least they should have replied!! Lousy service!!

Nice rice cakes. But they closed before their advertised time at 5pm. I specially made a trip to the shop.. reached here at 4.15pm and they're closed :(

Got my sweettooth and mugwort 'kueh' fix here. Come early if you are not buying bulk / walk-in, and you wont walk away empty handed. Since you have already managed a (i suppose long) trip to everton, might as well get Ji xiang ang ku kueh too.

Braved the scorching sun to this little Korean place. The shop looks more like a small production kitchen rather than a shop. It's called Walnut tree so do look out else you miss it. I was greeted by the Korean lady boss and she explained all the ingredients of the rice cakes! Since I went in the late noon, not many rice cakes were left but at least my favourite injeolmi and the colorful ones were still available. I have always been curious about the colorful ones everytime I saw it on TV. Its a very familiar taste! It's like the Chinese traditional rice snack which they steamed the rice powder and formed it into a triangle and wrapped in pink paper. I thought the texture will be like mochi so that was really unexpected but oh so comforting. The injeolmi ones are mochi types and it's really good! Chewy but also soft at the same time. The rolled rice cake was really filling! It's like having a bowl of rice with beans! Very chewy and lightly flavored. All the rice cakes are not sweet which I really appreciate! ? They sells fresh kimchi and tteok too!. Definitely will return for the kimchi!! ?
