But I am a little concerned about the profuse use of single-use paper bags, in this time of environmental crisis. Yes, I can imagine that it is difficult to choose a more environmentally friendly way of serving pastries to customers, while still ensuring a business is profitable. But I think that we ("we" referring to human beings who share the same planet) can hold ourselves to a higher standard, if we choose to.
