β β β β β The Hokkien Mee here is a hidden gem with the most generous serving size. The stock tastes slightly on the sweet side but better balanced with the sambal and lime juice. For $5, it is literally a plateful of umami noodles with 3 fresh prawns, sotong pieces, pork belly, and almost one full egg!
Stall owners are cheerful and I witnessed them quibble playfully. Thanks for the good food.

β β β β β Too much MSG, I feel thirsty after eating 50% of the noodle. It is worst when you mix it with chili. YouFu Fried hokkien noodle taste so much better than this and it's just few mins walk away.

This is my second visit to this hawker centre and also my second visit to order the fried hokkien prawn noodles.
This is an extremely generous serving of prawn noodles, with a sizeable quantity of broth. The prawns were of a good size. For $4 a plate, this portion will be too large for a small eater. I like supporting hawkers who are generous and polite, even though they have a good customer base.
Although there were 4 persons in front of me, the queue moved fast, I barely waited for 10 mins.
The lady serving the food is extremely courteous and even wished me Happy New Year. It is difficult to find such polite hawkers despite being overwhelmed with many customers.
With good food and extremely good service, you will feel like a King/Queen. Highly recommend visiting this stall.

β β β β β Flavourful plate of Hokkien mee and portion was generous for a $4. Would be perfect if can reduce the saltiness. I will go again and request for less salt the next time. Feeling very thirsty after. The auntie was very friendly and smiley. ???

β β β β β Very large portion for $4. Very nice strong taste. Not so oily. Chili also very nice. Prawn a bit fishy smell. Would definitely come back again.

β β β β β This is the wet style. No queue when I was there during moon time. Ordered a medium but came looking at large. Generous serving of hokkien mee with loads of eggs. Good value.
The broth is slightly sweet as compared to others.
Overall quite a solid hokkien mee.

Here I am again, finally getting my packet of Hokkien Mee. $4 was filled to the brim of the plastic ware.
Very wet Hokkien Mee! You like it wet, this is for you! The stock is so robust and the noodle soaked the flavour well. Very generous of eggs! A.very worth it meal!

β β β β β This is the wet type of Hokkien Mee which is not so common. I personally prefer the dry type but since the reviews are so good, I had decided to give it a try. I can early before the lunch crowd, the waiting time is about 5mins. There are 3 sizes, small, medium and large. Large is probably serving for 2. The gravy is really good, full of flavor, the chili could have been more spicy. Overall a delicious plate of Hokkien Mee, I would definitely come back for more.
