★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The gingko barley beancurd with wisps of egg is very good! The prices are lower than those mediocre stuff served in foodcourts too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best local dessert stores to satisfy your cravings for nostalgic red bean soup, burbur Hitam, green bean soup etc. Every bowl is full of flavourful mixture of yummy ingredients. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good traditional dessert place. I came here with my mum and ordered a Bubur Hitam and a Mixed Green Bean and Red Bean soup which tastes great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best BoBoCharChar in town! It’s as traditional as it can get with green, yellow and red “jellies” which reminded me of my childhood days. Sweetness is perfect to me with aromatic coconut milk

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good tradition red bean soup. Lots of ingredients other than red bean. Best taken when cold in a hot day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The store owner is proud of her selection of unique traditional desserts including bo bo char char, 六味汤 - six flavour soup and her Malaysian roots. The bo bo char char is too sweet for my liking, so is the six flavour soup. The yam in the bo bo char char is overdone and disintegrates in the soup. The longans look dirty as the top part of the rehydrated fruit has blackened rims leading me to question the quality of the desserts. All desserts are hot which is a little disappointing, especially when they are packed away in plastic containers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like this dessert shop very much; so difficult to find humble yet delicious traditional desserts nowadays. ? Meanwhile, Bubble Tea, Coconut Shakes, Shaved Ice desserts, etc are abundant... The Bubur Cha Cha ($2.30 dine in) has tapioca jellies, chunks of yam, chunks of sweet potato, and the creaminess (coconut milk) is just nice. It would have been better with sago haha! The Pulut Hitam ($1.80 dine in) was also tasty, rich and creamy.
