Was at the quiet lobby to get a cup of coffee. No frills. Clean and quiet. Not much option on menu but good enough for a discussion

Don't let the brand and "Express" fool you. The room has everything you need, the breakfast spread is more than adequate, and smart/friendly staff.

Stayed here for 6 nights and here’s my two cents PROS: - The rooms were good. Not too big but not too small either. Comfortable enough beds. - The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were helpful and polite. CONS: - The breakfast became pretty redundant after a day or two. Scrambled eggs were fine and I had to stick to toast/muffins because the rest of the food there was literally the worst I’d ever had. If you’re catering to more of an Indian population, the least you can do is google what Indians eat for breakfast. Biryani (they named it biriyani but upon further inspection with my eyes they were not) and sambar together are NOT it. Neither are parathas that were dry and required Herculean jaw strength to get through, but serving parathas with sambar? Also, a sad excuse for bondas for breakfast? Babe. This isn’t it. - The breakfast staff. They are rude, especially to their POC customers. The older lady there had a stronger preference for Caucasian customers and pretty much ignored/was rude to everyone else there. She practically told me to get my own cutlery when I asked her for it. Another time me and my mom were getting coffee from the machine (we were doing fine, we know our way around a coffee machine lol) and she asked my sister, β€œcan they manage?” Then proceeded to come over to us and say β€œno! No! You cannot use hot water from the machine!” Like she was scolding a toddler, like chill ? then goes onto explain how a coffee machine works, β€œthis says coffee, this says latte, this says blah blah” like sis, we can read. I asked her if she had breakfast one time just to make conversation and she immediately jumps to β€œwhen are you leaving?” Uhhh… lmao. - The cleanup. Even though we put in room cleaning service everyday, they did NOT change the sheets till we had to complain to the front desk 4 days later because we kept thinking they might change it the next day. They did not change pillow covers, left coffee stained filters on the table, at this point I wouldn’t even be surprised if they didn’t change the sheets before we checked in or after we checked out. I really tried to look for more positives here but the pros I mentioned were it. I’d look for better hotels.

Have been staying at 3 stars and 4 stars hotels in Singapore for the last couple of years. I really have to commend hotel Inn serangoon as the top notch for service standards. Really enjoyed my 3 nights stay here. Well done!!

Checked into their wonderful 1 Queen Bed Premium Loft and to my surprise, the room is so much bigger than expected! Check-In Staff was friendly and superb while the concierge was fantastic and knowledgeable about the area! I am so pleased that their TVs (Yes, there are 2! 1 in the living room and 1 in the bedroom) has HDMI ports. We are able to connect our laptop to the TV and enjoy the room to the fullest! Spent most of our time in their spacious living room during day time and their extremely cosy bedroom at night. Hotel location is very convenient as they have a 7-11 just right outside the entrance, Farrer Park MRT is just right below (maximum 2-3 minutes walk), City Square Mall is also within close proximity (3-5 minutes walk)! They have a big breakfast spread with quite the variety; buffet breakfast with egg station and very friendly F&B staff! Overall, the stay was really marvellous, my partner and I enjoyed ourselves thoroughly!

Staff was excellent, very clean, great breakfast that varied each day. The room is sufficient for 1 person only, and the "desk" area is too narrow to be of use. AC worked great. Room with 1 twin bed and a larger desk or table would have been a nice option.
