Hom Yoga River Valley - 491 River Valley Rd

Hom Yoga got a great variety of classes and Teachers. Really enjoying the classes. I appreciate that they have taken great care to use only the best materials in the studio giving it a very Zen and natural ambience.

Hom Yoga is a fantastic, well-equipped, aesthetically pleasing, and serene yoga studio. Their newest location is the most beautiful and updated out of the 3 locations - though not as convenient to reach by public transportation as the other two. Also, the mats they use here are different from the other two locations; they’re a bit thinner and less grippy so I definitely need a towel under my knees but can’t use the towel under my hands because it slips. But the high standards of their instructors, efficiency and cleanliness of their facilities, and helpfulness of their staff is the same throughout. It’s really nice to know that I can go to any of their locations and get a great, consistent yoga session, and that all of the same locker-room and shower amenities are provided so that I can be well prepared, whether I am taking a class to start or end my day, for whatever my plans are after class.

Love the simple white theme of the yoga studio. It gives off a clean and peaceful feeling as soon as you walk in. Hom has great amenities (clean showers, beautiful smelling soaps, white fluffy towels) and still maintains a small community vibe. I like the variety of classes they offer and the teachers seem experienced and sincere. I will definitely go back for more classes. My only feedback is I wish there were 75min classes. One hour seems rushed sometimes!

Beware of this studio!! Even with a package they will impose a $25 late cancellation charge! This is off market, eg pure yoga only restricts booking of classes w 2 late cancellation. Classes are just average, facilities aren’t great. No toilet, only showers. Mats are arranged such that you can’t see the mirror if someone is in front of you. No side mirrors too. You can get way better classes, value and service at Pure Yoga.

Probably the worst yoga place in sg. I booked a single class but got charged twice because of their slow, unresponsive website. Then they rejected my bank’s request for a refund even though the credit was unused. Then I called them and got told I had to email. Then I emailed them with the screenshot of the duplicated transaction and only got a response in 2 working days after another email reminder from me. Then they decided to point fingers at their payment operator for this issue with zero service recovery, just telling me to wait for my refund. Won’t be back, cannot recommend.

I love the River Valley Studios - the white and the wood makes the whole place feel very zen and sets the mood for yoga. I go there mainly for Meiyan's classes which are so grounding and powerful at the same time!

Went for a Vinyasa Flow class and the whole experience was wonderful! Love the aesthetics of the studio - white, clean and smells heavenly! Instructor was very experienced too and I would definitely be back for more classes :)

Hom RV is one of my favourite studios among the other Hom yoga studios (Orchard and Raffles)! It has a very spacious elfresco area just outside the studio and an inviting front. I attended Hom since I started working around the CBD area and have not found another studio as professional and welcoming as Hom! The best part of attending Hom is that I would never be pressured to go into poses I’m not ready or comfortable in (even when I am, not obligated to if the day is just not right for me). We all feel different every day and I’m glad that the instructors at Hom is always mindful of that ?
