★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They also have a chef with hotel experience cooking up great Japanese dishes. Give that a try as well. I also like the ice cool beer that go with the meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chanced upon this restaurant while walking down joo chiat road. The claypot lao shu Feng and KL Hokkien Mee was the main reason why we decided to give the place a try.
The claypot lao shu Feng was served pipping hot with fragrance from pork lard. It's seasoned well with great wok hei! KL Hokkien Mee was just okay, didn't really match up to the authentic one I had previously in KL.
Another star of the dinner was the salted egg pork ribs. The pork ribs were deep fried to crisp and yet retained the moisture within. The bones from the ribs were also removed which made eating really easy. The salted egg seasoning was perfectly moist and season and elevated the dish really well. Ordered small size for all the items and the portion were bigger than expected.
A must order to try while visiting- claypot lao shu Feng and salted egg pork ribs
