Ordered 5.50 bkt, 1.20 youtiao, 1.50 mee sua 1) bkt portion is good with 5 pieces of ribs. Herbal soup is good (consider favourable) 2) youtiao n mee sua slightly overpriced. 3) the soya sauce is good (for those who enjoy dip the pork)

Nice bowl of herbal bkt though the portion is abit small but at least soup taste nice and flavourful enough.

While this is better than your average joe of a BKT, this is not Marsiling's Hong Ji BKT standard. In fact, the soup's level of depth is a far cry. That is my complaint. Other than that, price is more than reasonable, portions are generous and location is convenient.

I saw the awards and the reviews and decided to give it a try. It's ok but the herbal taste lacks the umh. We ordered the meat ball soup. Good thing is it was served hot. That was probably the only favourable factor. Would have another star if its is not because of the service attitude. There was a middle age man with fake gold chain showed off around his neck and golden hair. He should not work jobs that requires serving customers, there are better jobs for him like washing plates or clearing HDB rubbish chutes so that when he is unhappy he can only scold the birds that flies around the chutes. We ordered to share and asked for extra utensils and he ticked us off. We have to go to the stall and take it ourselves. But what can you expect right? It's not 5 star hotels hahaha... Do give it a try coz some really like the taste... its very personal. I would still recommend it. But hor, you better prepare good comebacks if you happened to meet that rude goldie when kenna ticked off by him coz we were so dumbfounded and no choice but to laugh it off.

This Bak Kut Teh is a bit over rated, the herbal Bak Kut Teh lacks the herbal taste was a little disappointed. The pork rib is well cooked and fall off the bones. Most shocking is the braised tau pok that looks like those you buy from NTUC and throw into the soup without braised with the soup. Salted vegetables was okay, portion size wise it fine not too small if you you not a big eater. Mee Sua is fine.

Good food, poor environment Nice herbal soup bak kut teh. I been here many times for the soup. The coffee shop is buzzing with tables full of beer bottles , drinking and smoking customers. Without covid restrictions the coffee is very lively. Good that the shop reserves tables for its customers, else I am sure there won't be any seats left.

First time here after seeing many good reviews. $6.50 for the pro Kl rib soup, $5.5 for the braised pork trotter, quite reasonably priced. Taste is on the herbal side but not too strong, a bit lacklustre compared with the one in Kluang style one geylang and JB. Will return if near this area. But if I really have bkt craving, I will still go back to my regular joints.

I like it. I'm a fan of herbal bkt as opposed to the peppery version from Singapore. This stall here serves a decent bowl and I'd eat it again if I had any craving. I opted for the lean meat version as I have no doubts about the pork ribs as tried by many other reviewers, and it didn't disappoint either. The meat was tender and easy to chew on. The broth was quite alright to me. I like it. I can understand why some say it could be a little more flavourful, and I agree, but I don't agree that it 'lacked taste'. Not the best, but a hearty bowl indeed.
