★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow! This unassuming stall pack a huge punch for its wanton mee. Nice springy noodles with flavorful sauce and look at the amount of pork lard that aunty gave me! The pork lard is the star here! Really crunchy and tasty. The char siew is really good too. As for the wan ton it is okay - nothing to scream about. However, overall 5 stars! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chance upon this stall at blk 107 Ang Mo Kio's coffeeshop. It is at the same coffeeshop as the hong ji bak kut teh. This coffeeshop is also walking distance away from mayflower mrt station exit 5. Apart from Wanton noodle, they also sell other noodle dishes like laksa, minced meat noodle and lor mee.
Wanton noodle starts from SGD$3.80 onwards. Portion was quite generous. Noodle was nicely cooked, texture of noodle was springy. Sauce has that strong lard taste and goes well with the noodle. Charsiew wasnt dry and has nice flavor. Opted for the fried wanton instead of the normal ones.
Overall, an above average wanton. Aunty operating the stall were friendly. Would come back in the future to try their other noodle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is another good wanton mee in AMK. The char siew is very good, quite different from others. Noodle is springy with just the right amount of flavourful chilli paste. Soup is yummy too. Worth a visit.
Update 6 June 2022:
Tried the laksa today. That's a good bowl of laksa, very refreshingly tasty gravy, yet not too thick to feel "jialat". Another gem found.
