We love fried rice or noodles so decided to give it a try and the menu pic looks brilliant. We opened our takeaway box to find out that we are vegetarian. We were given only 1 tiny shrimp and bits of not sure if we can call it meat as it taste like flour. Or it could be some leftover batter who knows. Huge disappointment for the price we paid.

The existence of this stall shows that Dawson is indeed the most inclusive and tolerant community in Singapore! Highly recommended to people with great compassion!

Zichar stall in a coffeeshop located below a HDB block Public parking requires one to almost drive up the distance of getting up to Mount Faber Air circulation needs some improvement as the larger tables placed near the stall is quite stuffy Dishes tried on a special gathering included... 1.San Bei Chicken 2.Pan fried sliced deer with spring onion 3.Brinjal with minced meat and prawn 4.Fish head steamed bowl 5.Yam ring 6.Salted egg fried prawn Verdict ... 1.San bei chicken is not too bad...could do with a bit more spring onion to liven the color 2.Deer was soft and plentiful....worth an ordering 3.Fish portions were pretty fresh...and had abundance of vegetables in a flavourful soup 4.Brinjal was quite flavourful but looked tad too much on the Darth Vader side..dark side...seems too similar to the meat dishes 5.Yam ring dish would not look bigger even if placed in a large squarish dish...stall did not do a good rendering of this classic zichar dish...best to skip 6.Salted eggs prawns was quite nice...hope they find improvement to reduce the layer of batter

Seriously try to avoid this place. The food is ok but the service is disaster level. Don't pay money to bear this horrible attitude. Also, the waiting time is unreasonably long, and the food is pricy as well.

Rude aunty. Ordered curry fish head, open up and got a sour spoilt smell. 2 long beans, 1 Taupok cut 3pcs, 1/8 of a Small tomato. Lol

Worse place ever. Chef's cooking was good so I ordered most of the nights but should stop as the counter staff treated customer like dirt. One counter staff was closing cash counter and another was taking orders. I was next in line behind a girl who was ordering. When it was my turn, the lady who was closing the cash register told me that if I am not ordering, I should leave and not block other customers but there was no one behind me. I reasoned with her but she ignored me all the way. I am not expecting customer service but basic courtesy as a human. How unreasonable can that be ? Her colleague apologise on her behalf but she continued to ignore me. Ridiculous encounter thatspoilt my mood.

Worst type of service I’ve ever had and I don’t usually give 1* for food places. Ordered food and waited for 20 minutes. Only to find out the food wasn’t available? What was I waiting for then? Staff seemed really unapologetic and nonchalant about it. If you value your time and want to be respected as a person, give this place a miss.

Just bought fish head curry... I'm sorry... Its horrible.. 2 pieces of French bean.. Alot of bones and very little meat.. The taste is not good at all... The standard dropped... From last time...
