Very poor / nonexistent service. No waiter bothered to wait tables. Got a seat eventually but no one to bring us the menu. Meanwhile another customer that just arrived was shown their tables, had their tables wiped, given their menus and order taken (maybe foreigner are treated with priority here?) Next, Waited 1 and a half hour for ribs. Asked if my ribs were ready when the others in the table had all finished their meals. Their response was β€œthere was mix up, your order was probably given to another table” ? cocktails that are inspired by different desserts and each presented in its unique mug/cup makes for a interesting experience. Fish and chips was good but ribs were really poor considering the long wait time. Oyster were really fresh but beware the the grilled oysters are on the spicy side, would recommend the raw oyster instead.

I was recommended to go Hopscotch by a buddy who loves drinking as much as I do and this place certainly doesn't disappoint when it comes to the creativity of drinks - from the aesthetics to the taste and even the way things can inspire this establishment. These 5 stars are certainly for the cocktails alone, food wise I would rate 4 stars cos not all pass the mark. I love their happy hour for their cocktails where they priced it pretty decent and I wish they stopped increasing the price already! Love their alfresco vibes at Gillman and if you are coming in a group, be sure to make reservations! The staff who serve the drinks are friendly and knowledgeable about their cocktails and how each were inspired so hopefully this continues!

Waiters and waitresses were nothing but friendly here, I really had a great night thank you. Food was also really good, the pizza was unexpectedly huge and the cocktails were really fun. Particularly I enjoyed the Cereal Chicken pizza, Honey Pot and Tipsy Nyonya cocktails. There was also a Secret Remedy shooter which incorporated pipagao and was super nice. Would recommend and definitely will be back!

Food quality was good but portion differs from dish to dish. Happy hour pint was worth it. Seated outside so was at the mercy of weather. Service was good and food was served at reasonable time. We were early before crowd so did not encounter slow service.

Was disappointed with the food portion and Taste when we visited on April 28 2022. We paid $143 for 2 wagyu burgers, one truffle pasta, One cereal chicken pizza and 2 sides: calamari and truffle fries. The truffle fries was so small and the calamari was chewy. The truffle pasta tasted like seafood pasta and wagyu burger was small. The cereal chicken pizza was messy to eat and lacked seasoning and not much chicken. Overall the taste of each dish was not as good as before. Maybe the chef was not feeling well. The feedback from the rest of my 4 friends were the same. In fact some of them wanted to rate lower. Oh well. Perhaps the next time we may get better food. But the ambience is nice for sure to have drinks with friends. Too bad we didn’t drink that night.

Very cool alfresco dining restaurant. But avoid coming in the afternoon. The sun just pierce into the skin directly. The giant umbrella helps, but pretty much defeat the meaning of alfresco dining. Food is good despite quite limited choices on the menu. Highly recommend the chili crab pizza. There’s happy hour promo for the alcohol which is good for gatherings with friends. One star lesser due to the food portion. It’s just pathetic small even for mains. But I’ll still come back because it’s a nice place for a drink and chill.

First time here. Sat outdoors. Food, generally, was on the okay side. Ambience and service was nice, and it was cooling at night. Mushroom Risotto was heavily seasoned- each mouth felt saltier than the previous. But it is filled with lots of mushroom, so it’s worth the price. Wagyu Burger was under seasoned, and wasn’t anything special. Salted Egg Pasta was nicely seasoned, but the noodles were very mushy. Overall, quite a good experience.

Great place and cosy! Love the food! Oysters are amazing! And all the food dishes ordered taste great. Plum fries dish is unusual and something to try. Will be back for happy hours on a regular basis!
