Hoshino Coffee @ KINEX - 11 Tanjong Katong Rd

Went there for dessert. Overall, it’s a good experience there. Had the Mille crepe and a double soufflé, taste great, not that sweet.

Service is really good. However, food is mostly substandard. The soufflé pancakes were hard and the crepe cakes were not defrosted enough and had ice in it. Furthermore, prices are quite high. The omurice were pretty quite tasty and the overall food is actually decent, but very not worth the prices in my opinion. Food feels like microwaved food.

Desserts are super tasty! ? ✨ Wish the fruit tea was hot not warm. And the sofas are comfy. Still a great place for dessert and drinks.

Great service and great food as expect of the chain! 4 stars cause they soft tactical turned off the lights to chase guest out at 9pm.

Coffee was good. Would come here again for it. Tried some of the foods introduced by Ghib Ojisan for the Hokkaido fair. Felt they were okay. Good for experiencing new things but don’t think i will crave the foods here.

It was nice and everything tasted what I would expect from a cafe. However I had to comment on the time we waited to be guided inside. There were plenty of empty seats that we saw but nobody came to serve us as we stood by the entrance dumbly for 20 whole minutes!!! How is that even right? We tried catching the staff attention and finally managed to gesture to a Chinese staff who was walking around, and she made a signal to ask us to wait before walking off. It was incredibly rude in my opinion, and we had to gesture to her AGAIN before she finally “entertained” us. It was barely a minute just to get us seated before she took our order sheet and left, which is why I don’t understand why we needed to pointlessly wait 20 minutes for it. We are also the only people in the nonexistent queue so it is ridiculous. The service however, after we were finally seated in, was fair enough, so this was the only reason why I decided to not give it a two star instead. The food, as mentioned was good as well so I am also pleased. The ice matcha was refreshing too and I love the tofu salad. Will visit hoshino coffee again but perhaps not this outlet.

Food is great. Service is awesome Ambience is nice with the day light from the external building façade. Suggestions To request kitchen to prepare pancake before you complete your meals as it takes around 15mins to prepare. To shift the buzzer to the center-side portion of the table so that it won't accept user experience. Improvement Owner may want to hire more manpower in the kitchen as food take awhile to come.
