Hotel NuVe, Bugis

Stay was comfortable but needs more improvement. First room given to us, issues with key card reader. Unable to get in the room for a good 15 min. However service crew was quick to offer a similar room a few doors away. Mattress is abit soft but that's personal preference and not an issue of the hotel. Do not expect to have breakfast or mini fridge, this hotel is more suited for a resting room rather than staying indoors.

Firstly, i was expecting the pictures up on the website to look exactly like how it was . It looked super perfect for a weekday get away/ birthday surprise in pictures. It all went away quickly as i stepped into the room. There’s a hole in the ceiling that was only covered by a canvas ? The aircon wasn’t even cold as there was a hole in the ceiling directly above it. The hanger just above the tv area was hanging on its dear life . Honestly, when i first arrived, the area was perfect. Even the outside of the hotel looks presentable, but i was turned off when the staff at the counter sounded rude(?) and very arrogant, i did not get a smile and also i was not even approached politely . It was obviously my first time here and i had told her i made a booking under Agoda but she kept repeating for my name before i could even end my sentence. That was very rude . That threw me off but i tried my best to keep my expectations small . I did not get to check everything but i went straight to setting up balloons for the birthday surprise, then i needed to wash my hands and i noticed that there were a few strains of hair on the sink itself . I do not know what to make of this but i will definitely not recommend coming here nor will ever come here again . There was a kind lady at the desk during the wee hours of 3am at the counter and her presence made it very welcoming, homely and definitely more polite than the staff that served for when i checked in. You guys should give her a raise . She’s the only reason you’re getting customers.

Staff was friendly especially the one on night shift. That was the only positive thing that deserve 2 stars. What I experienced wasnt as bad as others however, cleanliness is really debatable. Found multiple hair(public hair included) and stains on my towel. Staff was nice enough to exchange it for me. Toilet seat cover was dirty, didn't use the toilet seat. Kettle and remote control was really dirty with stains. Location wise it's near a 7-11, haji Lane and many eateries. For $111, I would rather stay at other hotels. Let's just be real, this looks more like a hotel 81 hotels that people use for one night stands that is more expensive and not worth it. My room was located beside a bunch of luggages and things in huge bags. Hotel Nuve Urban definitely had better cleanliness standards. Just avoid this place at all cost. I won't visit it again.

Reception is friendly but the noise is terrible. You can hear what they talk in the next room and hear they having xxx.(vomit) If you are really sensitive to sounds, don’t come. If you don’t mind the noise and just want the lower price, it is your choice.

Location wise is amazing. Service provided was somewhat adequate. Room was very compact even though the picture seeing through Agoda wasn't true reflective how in reality the room looks like.

3 stars for this quaint 3 star hotel. Accommodation wise, I booked the Nuve Classic room. It was relatively comfortable and can fit 1-2 pax, however the room was not as portrayed in the pictures. Acceesibility. It was nestled near the Sultan Mosque with the nearest bus stop being 1 min away and Bugis mall being about a 5 min walk away. I would say it is quite easy to reach this place. Service. The service was great, staff were nice and very helpful. Would recommend for the experience.

Very comfortable bed. The room is very clean with daily cleaning by the staff. But you will hear the sound clearly from next door when people talk. Recommended if you just want to have a place to sleep over night and go out during day time

Reception staff are very helpful and friendly, day or night they greeted me. Also offered great advice to a newbie to Singapore. Room had a telephone and a small fridge. Lovely shower and the bed was comfortable. Maid service was great and very friendly.
