Lots of good food at affordable prices but hard to find seats. Popular stalls have VERY long queues.

Clean and quality hawker fare. Wet market on the first floor offers wide selection including Kampong chicken. Fruits and veg stalls. Food stalls and parking on top two floors. Food to try are kuay chap, lor mee, fried carrot sticks, nasi lemak and mee qian kuey.

Clean environment with lot of nice foods. Almost all the stall serve delicious food. Hawkers and cleaners here are with smiling face and polite. Can feel theirs Gregarious and friendly. Will be there again to enjoy the foods !

Little known to Singaporean of this as a Hainanese Village Center. Very spacious and ventilated with lots of local delicacy. Do not visit as usual on a Monday where majority of the stalls will be closed.

We have been enticed by a wide variety of food reminiscent of the good old days to be frequenting the hawker on the 2nd floor several times a week. That’s even though we are not even staying in Hougang! In addition, we have been buying both exotic & common vegetables, farm fresh mushrooms of all types from a specific stall located in the centre alley of the wet market. We have also been patronising a smaller flower stall located along the same alley as our favourite vegetable seller - to look out for an elderly aunty whose manning her flower stall. Her flowers seemed to last longer on our altar so we have been buying from her for the past 2 years. Food wise, there’s such a long list of favourites that we require time to compile and would upload once they are available! But please do visit during the mornings and preferably before 2pm because most of the food stalls only operate till lunchtime. Highly recommended place for those who crave for the 古早风味 taste from our grandparents’ era!

Plenty of local favourites to choose from and at reasonable prices too. Choices for today are the soft and crispy white carrot cake from Hup Huat and the sweet and savory mee siam from Jiu Ji Shu Shi. Always enjoyed the nice and fragrant coffee from Da Zhong but must be prepared to join in the queue. We came back for more exciting choices

A number of good food stalls here. My favourite has to the braised duck rice stall at the corner. Delicious and the chili sauce is superb with lots of ikan bilis. Owners are are very friendly.
