Came by here for dessert. I felt like it was a hidden find in Bugis area. I had the Ginko Barley dish. I liked how the dessert was too sweet. There was a decent amount of ginko nuts, tau kee and barley. Very satisfying and would recommend.

The Dessert stall holds on to a tradition of simple and classic desserts, with taste and tradition. Their black sesame paste is hearty and holds its own flavour with simple ingredients. The glutinous rice balls (called tang1 yuen2, or ah-bao-ling) is now available with a peanut base. Look for the House of Dessert with its bright yellow sign board.

Should believe the bad attitude reviews, just experienced it today, really bad. Can’t believe why we choose to buy from her when there are so many other nice dessert stalls in the food center. She didn’t even bother to ask whether we want coconut milk & just pour into the dessert. Dessert very mediocre & not value of money as you can see it’s only 2/3 bowl for full price.

I ordered a bo bo char char and passionfruit aiyu jelly. The bo bo char char was pre-packaged and the lady just took it out of the fridge and handed it to me. There was zero preparation for a so-called hawker store. Might as well sell them at the chiller compartment in NTUC Fairprice. The passion fruit aiyu jelly was tasteless and there were 4-5 passion fruit seeds in the entire dessert. When asked what time the dessert store opens, she said she only did the afternoon shift so - no idea. The service is not worth a special trip down to this place.

Lousy attitude, the auntie there simply threw the spoon on the table just because i put my bowl of dessert onto the tray first despite the fact that i even apologised to her for putting my bowl of dessert onto the tray. Food taste so-so, wouldn’t patronise this stall again.

Queue wasn’t very long but they were super slow. Ordered mango aiyu jelly and ginkgo beancurd skin barley to try. Both were disappointing. Ginkgo beancurd skin barley was watery as if it was just cooked for 5 mins. Mango aiyu jelly was equally bad, the jelly tasted nothing like aiyu and the mango tasted like canned mangoes. Would rate 0 stars if possible.

Lousy attitude and shortchanges customers. the lady would answer in an unhappy tone when I asked about the ingredient (I didn't want to waste food, so I request not to include one of the ingredients). She doesn't reply when I thanked her for the info and when I paid. Who's the customer? The shredded ice in my bowl of ice kacang was only about 2/3 of what is shown on the display.. (my hubby's bowl of chendol had slightly more ice than mine..) Reading the previous reviews.. they were good until starting from 1 year ago.. either they lost a good staff.. or staff was instructed to shortchange customers to save cost.. well, I will make sure the people I know don't go thru my experience here.
