β β β β β Impact MMA is located in the heart of CBD. It is very convenient for working adults and just less than 5mins walk away from Downtown station.
From price perspective, it is very reasonable given the credentials of their instructors. As for students and NSF, it is so damn cheap. For pricing , please check their website.
Training in Impact is fun and enjoyable. What I like about their training is that the routine differs day by day. It does not get boring nor does it feels like they are out to just make you tired and sweat. Instructors for BJJ and Muay Thai are super engaging and they constantly on the look out for their students. At the same time, instructors do go around and correct the moves if itβs not done properly. They will also motivate and push their students accordingly. I feel that the instructorβs intention is good as they are not just out there to shortchange you. The moment you step in their school, you are in for a serious training.
I would rate the cleanliness of the place as 9/10. The pads are a little smelly. Thatβs about it. Toilet is clean. The mats are not exactly very clean as there will be many people training in a day.
Equipments. Some of the pads needs to be replace as itβs torn. The bags are a little old and battered as well. Overall, itβs still usable.
As for the environment, everyone is very friendly and low ego. People can be seen chatting on the mats after class and itβs feels like a family.
Overall, In my opinion, it is worth every penny training at Impact.

β β β β β Not bad training. However the pads were smelly and shower drains get clogged sometimes. Otherwise the place was quite clean.

β β β β β Excellent gym to train at! Instructors are dedicated and are well versed in their craft. Gym also has a very welcoming atmosphere. In my opinion, one of the best MMA academies in Singapore. Facilities are also well maintained and showers are always clean which is a big plus point!

β β β β β One of the best investments I have made.
A friend recommended this place. "Impact feels like a family," he said.
"As much as it is a business, not everything is about money.
They are flexible."
The coaches are skilled and professional.
They genuinely care about your progress.
I bought a one-year membership, but my attendance was derailed by COVID before I could attend any classes.
I went back 7 months later and Suzanne kindly reset my package start date out of goodwill.
She did not have to, so I am very grateful and appreciative that she did it out of her own accord.
Thank you, Suzanne.
Thank you, coaches!
Learning from you guys are the highlight of my day.

β β β β β Coach Bruce Loh (Muay Thai) and Prof Leke are great mentors that care for your wellbeing. However this gym does not have heavy bags for muay thai students to perform their drills.
The training space is pretty small and charging $288 a month seems like a rip off.

β β β β β Went down for muay thai classes a few days ago and oh boy, this is nothing but a disappointment.
The instructors here did not even make it compulsory for handwraps to be worn during training and yet. Not only does this show that this gym lacks professionalism, it truly reflects how this gym prioritise safety. The gym here do not have sufficient pads, belt pads for everyone to do their padwork. Not only that, the pads are smelly and dirty. There is also no safe distancing management rules applied. Reflecting a poor image of Impact MMA's concern for hygiene and safety during the pandemic.
Presence of only 1 heavy bag for the high student: coach ratio. Charging close to $300 a month for such mediocracy is such a rip off.
My advice: you can easily find a gym that offers the proper facilities and equipments at this price range.

β β β β β Just attended a Muay Thai class last week. Love how this gym is so different from the others who only focuses on cardio.
I learnt so many new techniques and even got to spar on a friendly level even though I am new.
I had a lot of fun and thankfully coach Bruce was very patient in correcting some of my techniques.
The vending also has an extensive selection of drinks for me to choose!
A clean toilet for shower and hair drying after class. Shiok.
Would highly recommend this gym if youβre looking at trying out MMA.
Will try BJJ next!
