★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointed with today steam fish. No fire and cold dish. Told owner that a lot vegetable and onions is not even warm but choose to do nothing. Did not finish the dish. Also owner should wash hands before cooking and taste food with different spoon. Despite earlier good reviews, not going back anymore as has been patronising them for more than a year means nothing to owner. The other Chinese zhi char seems nice and will try them instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wandering around Ubi industrial area, discovered an authentic Thai food stall within a small coffee shop. The owner seemed to be from Thailand, and were super friendly, spoke good English as well. Ordered basil pork rice and Tom yam soup, both were nice but nothing life-changing. The prawns in the soup could be fresher, and taste lacks a bit of the feisty Thai flavour that we love. But the basil pork were flavourful. The stall owner made special care not to make the dishes too spicy in consideration of typical Singaporean’s taste buds.. telling us to add more chilli if we need to. The price was generally reasonable, nice place for simple thai food :)
